Looking for a group to play Coc online. I'm a new player and have only played casually with friends. Whether it's through Skype or hangouts, I'm just looking for some fun people. I'm in central time zone....any day works forme, although if it's in the evening I would need to submit a new availability at work since I work overnights
Dude, I'm totally down to play Call of Cthulhu as well. I've never played before, but I have seen it played and am familiar with the system somewhat. I've been wanting to play it with someone so I'd love to play. I live on the east coast so I go by EST. I'm quitting work since I will be going to college soon so I'm basically free to play most of the day, everyday.

Hi guys. I run a rather lengthy "season" of cthulhu. I would love to share this with you guys. There are thing I must say first. If this is a call for people to join you, I apologize. As I may have misunderstood. I am an experienced DM, though I prefer the term "DIrector". My Cthulhu season is made up out of 42 scenarios. I am really only able to play night games, cause of work. My time would be about 10:30 pm till about 1 am (Californian time). I will be able to play about three days a week. I have other games I must be at. The days we play can be up to you guys. My other games are at unset times, so whatever days you'd like to play just tell me. My games are focused more on the drama and horror aspect of the cthulhu mythos. I take a look at the damage the mythos does to the mind. My games last about three hours or so. It is a heavy amount of role playing. It involves more acting than dice play. I use a heavily altered version of the cthulhu system. I do away with damage points and such, in favor of more realistic damage. I kinda heavily alter the Cthulhu mythos itself as well. It is still the basic beings you know, just with a few new twists. I bring heavy appearances from Resident Evil and the Clock Tower series. I've been told I portray them very well. The game is set during modern times. Plot synopsis By seemingly random events, a group of strangers are brought together. In a matter of hours, lives are destroyed and changed forever. A mystery explored far too deep revealed an ancient horror. One that that seems all, but invincible. From that night, a whole new world is opened to the poor souls that dare explore it. These strangers: A police detective, a widow, an orphan, and a psychiatrist, must rely on each other, but more than horrors threaten to break this group apart. Somewhere, in the darkest of nights, deepest of oceans, and the sands of times the answer waits for them. Sometimes, you're better off not knowing. Please message me if you're interested in playing. I am willing to work with new players. Have a good day.

I have been looking to join a game for Call of Cthulhu for a while now. i would like to join if there room. unfortunately i have never played any of the systems but have the new quick starter, if that helps. if you have room i am willing to join. personally i have experience with other systems like Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, pathfinder, and the Fantasy Flight Systems. I extremely like the Idea of more Role play then dice rolling, specially for a Call of Cthulhu Game. question: What Edition would you be using? Days available: Wednesday to Friday, I have games on Saturday and Sunday. Time zone: from 1 PM to 12 AM PST ( California) Modes of contacting others: Skype
IF the Director is going to run a game, I'm down to play, I am on the East coast so I will be three hours ahead of you guys going by PST
i would love to join ive been looking for a call of cthulhu game for a while now, Wednesday or Thursday would work best for me as i would be open any time those days.
Well, Ryan K. I would be happy to have you join. It seems like wednesday and thursdays will be best to play. Does Wednesday and thursday, 10:30 till 12 sound fine? Though that is rather short. Orland, I know you mention that 12 is latest, but is there any way you could play till 1? If not, thats ok. But two hours is usually the best amount of time to play. Let me know what you guys think.
I think the tkmespan is good. Id rather play for two hours too since, the session would end at 3 A.M. for me.
it sounds good, i am in the same boat as Fahad
Cool, we got players on both coasts
as for the time, i can push for later with no problem, Wednesday or Thursday is fine also.
Doesn't OP work overnights though? will he be able to play?
I am still awaiting response from the OP. I am holding that final spot for him (4 player a a time, minus myself). I'm not sure he has seen these posts yet. Nonetheless, we should gather tomorrow to create your characters. I have a writable pdf so you can keep your skills, if you need it. In truth, I have only invited people to join the game through skype and sending them a link. Is there a way to send you all invites? I haven't really explored the site too much.
Yeah, you can add me on skype. My profile is fahadsyed1996. What time would you like to convene tomorrow?
We can gather at the agreed gametime. Or for those eager to create their guy, I can most likely work with them around 12 tomorrow morning, though I would have to go by 1:40 for work. I will post the join link here tomorrow morning. On another note, I believe we can keep stats in the game itself. EIther way, 10:30 pm tomorrow is the planned meet time, I look forward to seeing you all there.
