Lag in Roll20 when interacting with Character Sheet

My broswers (Chrome and Firefox) believe the site is timing out and offer to close window any time i open and attempt to edit character sheets in any way. The site lag is amazing (minutes at a time to simply type the word "Vital" for example, when adding a new feat) and it's not my connection (others on the same router are streaming and gaming fine), nor is it my PC as I can have multiple other windows open (or not) and have websites loading in a flash. My PC is about 1 year old, with upgraded RAM, 32g and 2 TB harddrive. Any ideas?

Hi David! This is usually a bug only on Firefox, having to do with the way Firefox handles user-supplied information. You can usually eliminate that lag by turning off the browser's Autofill and Autocomplete features. I have not heard of it on Chrome in forever, but anything's possible. You can also check in private browsing windows on either browsers, which usually eliminates any potential interference from extensions.
It's significantly less lag in Firefox over Chrome, ironically
