DM looking TOBE A PLAYER

Hey everyone, i am normally a forever DM and would love to be a player for a change. i need a bit of a break from DMing but i still want to play. i am also happy to make one-shots for whoever takes me and run them so the DM/GM can take a Break too. i would preferer to play D&D 5e but will be happy to learn new systems.

I am in a somewhat similar situation myself, being a GM who gets stuck in the GM position so much that it is hard to get any real worthwhile time as a player. What time frames are you interested in, and would you be interested in learning Pathfinder 2e? I am only barely familiar with D&D 5e (I jumped ship during the 4e days to Paizo, but 5e had enough to make me curious about it), but if our timeframes match up we could potentially make an arrangement.

Hello to you both! Hope you're doing well. As a forever-DM myself I have managed to find a solution in a server-run story game. It's set in the Forgotten Realms and the system if 5e. The general story is run by a team of DM's. Usually there are games nearly daily, but there are also consistent adventures that you can focus on and adventure in.  Is that something that you might be interested in as well? It's a Westmarch style based server, but not entirely so. As mentioned there is a general theme running.  Either way I do hope you find the style of play and adventure that you enjoy.  Let me know either way. Good luck!

Wow thanks for the posts, i would be happy to try both, i am currently taking a bit of a break from DMing so i have only one game running. as for timeframe i work from home and live in a EDT time zone, i would prefer to play at night, but can play almost all day (bit i may have to hop in and out of a session, ill explain later) please send me a links.  also, i have never played pathfinder, but wouldn't mind trying it, i find playing deferent systems  challenging and fun!

looks interesting but i try to avoid games set in alternate timelines or history.
