[LFG] [5e] Any week night 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. EDT

Hey folks, I'm looking to put a group of players together with a similar play style and then recruit a D.M. I like about 60/40 RP/combat give or take, but am pretty comfortable with long stretches of one or the other if that's where the story goes. I like suspense and mystery in the plot with combat and encounters that make the stakes compelling. I like being immersed with some room to not take it too seriously. Sorta Critical Role-ish. I try to do a voice, but I'm not great at it. I generally like using RAW, but I like to re-flavor stuff. My favorite part about the game is seeing where the story goes and where all the players take their characters. My favorite character that I've had was a Gnome Barbarian/Moon druid. I loved how much his personality came out in many ways. He was grumpy and the nature gods were slowly helping him get over his anger, hence the multiclass. He had a big belly with a bear claw scar, and he wore a bear cloak. He was humorously gruff. But he loved to be a bear as much as possible and was more friendly when he was. If all that sounds good to you let me know. And maybe mention what you're favorite character has been.  If we get a group that's a good fit, I'll host a Discord channel and we can look for a DM. Game details When: Monday-Friday 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. EDT Weekly, maybe bi-weekly if that works better for most people. What: I'd love to play a module, but I could be talked into a home brew campaign. Grass, ground, water, air, living beings and all the colors of the rainbow. However everything was so chaotic what with the different types of beasts and creatures running amok. So the Pantheon created a being that was powerful enough to judge, jury and execute the creatures that would upset the balance of chaos and peace for the future of Earthica. Eventually, the seemingly omnipotent being deemed all sentient life as unbalanced and had started killing everything. When the Pantheon learned of this, they tried to kill their creation, but they failed. So they imprisoned him in between the Shadowfell and the Astral Plane in a void realm. 1900 years later, he began breaking the divine magical prison he was put in, and it is prophesied that a group of heroes would come together and seal his prison forever, lest the fate of Earthica be damned. With The Old One breaking free of his magical temporal prison, the world of Earthica suffers tears in the realm leading to his void. Rumors of terrible, twisted beasts come from these portals and wreak havoc on anything in their path. A Cult, lead by a faithful follower of the ancient, seemingly unstoppable being of old, has heard of a prophecy, that will shut out his God from the Prime Material Realm for all time. He intends to stop that from happening. I've got music for that ;) Dungeon or cave ambience and music?  Oh yeah, I got you. 奈 Each major village town or Kingdom has their own musical theme as well!  I hand make all of my maps, so that your character always has somewhere to be standing and exploration to be had! Meaning, you're not just seeing battle maps, you're seeing everything from paths to forested areas, inside buildings, plains and everything in between the combat! I am always prepared to take requests for people who want to see a portion of the world that I have yet to make maps for, so if that is in demand and you are currently participating sessions in my game - then please message me with your request and I will do so as soon as possible!

I'm very interested in being a player!  What you like in a game is very much what I do as well. One of my favorite characters was a gem dragonborn with necrotic damage breath, from a family that was usually all fire-breathing. He became a wildfire druid in order to get access to fire and stop all the disappointed looks.  He was from a fairly rich family, the youngest and also a bit short.  He got fed up with all the coddling and basically the delaying of his adulthood, "ran away" as an adult and started adventuring and learning what the word is like when you're not rich. I'm available at those times on Wed and Thursday.  Friday as well if it's every other week.

Hi &nbsp;I am looking to set up a full homebrew campaign. I generally work character idea into the that group world version. I am about the same on RP/combat.
