Bars don't display when the maximum score is 0

I use the 3rd bar on tokens to show the damage enemies have taken. I have the max set to zero by default and on hundreds of tokens I already have set up. But now the red bar doesn't work because the max is set to 0. The only way to fix it is to replace them or change it to 1 manually since applying defaults won't change the 0. This is absurdly frustrating.

So that I can present the problem to the Devs correctly, do you actually need /0 or just a way to display a bar even if there is no denominator? Such as just a plain number?
It HAS worked PRIOR to the update, correct? pikmonwolf . said: I use the 3rd bar on tokens to show the damage enemies have taken. Based on my testing on the Dev server vs Prod server the behavior has changed.

I agree that the new behavior is frustrating. I was using one of the bars to display Temporary Hit Points (THP) in D&D 5e and setting the values as [blank]/0 when the character had no THP so that the bar would not show up, since characters do not have THP more often than they do. When a character gained THP, the values would be set to X/0 to show the number X on the bar for reference. Since there's no maximum value to THP it didn't need to show a current/maximum like normal hit points. Now, setting a bar to X/0 will not display it and requires setting it to X/1, which is confusing to players as it appears as if there's a maximum amount of THP (1) and the bar says they're always over that limit. As a workaround I'm going to set the bars to [blank]/[character's max HP] just to have some kind of standardization, but it's technically inaccurate according to the game rules.

I have added this to my QoL list for the Devs.
Gauss said: I have added this to my QoL list for the Devs.  Glad to see there's visibility on this already. Noticed this yesterday and definitely threw me for a bit during a combat encounter. The previous behavior of 50/0 showing '50' on the bar was extremely useful for showing the total damage done to a creature for players without revealing the meta-knowledge of how much HP was left. It's the standard way I provide that information for players, and having to put HP/1 as a workaround every time is not ideal. Can't find any patch notes or changelog on it, but it appears to have been changed since the graphics for the health bars became much nicer rounded bars, rather than the original rectangular designs. I like the new look, but would certainly like to have the behavior back that /0 (or /null) would just show the standalone number that's entered.
I figured out how to manually change all the 0s into 1s at least by making the 1 the default max and then applying defaults to the existing pages. However now as far as I can tell there's no way to display a number with no denominator and you can't even have 0 as a max even if it should be showing. " So that I can present the problem to the Devs correctly, do you actually need /0 or just a way to display a bar even if there is no denominator? Such as just a plain number? " So /0 would be ideal but at this point I've already change the numbers into 1s so anything that lets me show a number with no denominator would be ideal.
Agreed. I also used the bars in the way described. Ideally, I hope we'd not lose QoL tricks like this, but these updates are like a battlefield.
