Deleted Tokens reappearing in games?

Hi team, So i'm having a genuinely bizarre issue. So I've a long running game that I've been working on and editting for several years now. I tend to save monster tokens on maps where I store their info for easy cutting and pasting at a later date. Sometimes I have to delete tokens that are no longer in use for the sake of space if they are no longer relevant to the campaign. With this recent update, however, I'd had several maps where "phantom tokens" are reappearing that cannot be interacted with - you can't click on them, you can't rename them, you can't even see the token itself! The only reason I know they're there is because I can see the health bars and name tags listed above and below where they're located. Here's an example of what I'm talking about: Has anyone else had a glitch like this with the new update? I'm at a loss on what to do.

They are phantom tokens, tokens where the image has been deleted (usually). Historically they are invisible and unselectable. However, with the latest update they are no longer invisible.  Here are your options:  1) Wait for the Devs to fix it.  2) Send a bug report to the Devs, have them come fix your game.  3) I can come fix your map using method below 4) Fix it yourself with the following method: * Move all the objects on the token layer to either GM or Map layer * Go to the Page Toolbar, duplicate the page, remove the token and objects layer checkmark, hit duplicate * on the copy, move the objects you moved to the GM or Map layer back to the token layer.  * Delete the original image at your leisure
I'll probably try your method on my own, it seems straightforward enough. Was hoping for something more elegant, but sometimes you just work with what you have! Thank you.
This is happening for me too.

Same problem here. Fixed it by trial and error, doing something kinda like Gauss outlined.
I see the same effect on my older maps... I'm not bothering to manually fixing them though, as I don't expect a need to. If a fix is published where it self-corrects, cool.... But again, I don't see it affecting me much at all.
