Can't place new tokens

For some reason no new tokens will appear when I place them in any of my campaigns. I can move the old ones just fine. This happens both in Chrome and Firefox.

Since this just came up from another user: Are you dragging from the name or the handle (Icon)? The Icon handle area is for re-ordering. the name is to drag it to the VTT.

The icon only works for rearranging the order in the sidebar, not for dragging/dropping onto the table, same as the Production server.

'way back machine' perfectly fits the dev server being used nowadays... it becomes more and more a relic... Out of curiosity... have they announced any changes regarding the dev server?

This behavior is most definitely different than it used to be. Dragging the name is a fine workaround for now, I guess. Would like to be able to drag from the image like I used to be able to.

Assuming you are talking about dragging from the Journal Tab, t his has been the behavior for many years. As far back as I can remember in fact. You can check the documentation history in the wiki if you wish, but it really is the traditional behavior. Icon is a handle for reordering, name area is for dragging to the VTT.

That’s my recollection since early 2014 too. 

I can accept that I am just a dingus and messed up, but I've had a lot of random token issues in the last week. I just accidentally selected all my tokens in my Recent Uploads folder (several hundred) and deleted them without even realizing it. My fault, I guess, but wow losing a few years' worth of stuff a day after I had this issue is pretty wild. I wonder if Chrome is having issues where selections have become more sensitive or something. No variables are unusual on my end, and right now the biggest stress in my life is Roll20 so I'm not exactly having distraction issues lol.

You can check with Roll20 through a  Help Center Request , but I don't think there's a lot they can do about restoring a deleted Art Library. The images are actually stored using Amazon Web Services. I don't know how much ability they have to restore deletions. It's worth an ask though.
