Player findable treasue

Is it possible to put a token down, like a chest or an urn and have the players be able to click on it to see what is inside? So, far I've only seen gm info sections and nothing the PC could see.

I think there is an API script (mentor level) that does what you want.

One thing you can do is place a token on the map, give it a name, "Chest A", show the nameplate, allow control to "all players" and remove all player permissions. To the players, the token looks like part of the environment. If they click on it however, they will see that it is indeed a token. They can tag it with a color or symbol which would clue the GM in on who opened or attempted to open "Chest A". The GM could have a handout available called "Chest A" with the contents and perhaps some GM-only info about any traps or whatever. Show the handout to a player or players. Not exactly what you were asking for, but it may still work for you.
That is pretty much what I'm thinking of doing, but looking through API board is making me want to upgrade.

Another option I just tried is naming the token whatever the contents are, "100gp, +1 Dagger, 1 Potion of Cure Light Wounds". Enable the see and edit player permissions and once a player opens the chest, just "Show Nameplate" to reveal the contents. Now they can even copy and paste the contents. And, no need for a handout. :-)
