Without specifics, you don't know what you're getting yourself into... Perhaps day of the week, time of day, (timezone and/or nearest parallel dimension), written module or homebrew, if it's for everyone or only for folks who were stripped tights... etc.

Hmmm this is getting humorous. lets say 5 o'clock as its always 5 o'clock somewhere. how about on a day that ends in a "Y" basically I am trying to get a feel for the amount of other people that may want to ramp up the quantity of 5th edition games and not too concerned with getting specific individuals together. Consider it awareness...

I don't know, man, I clicked on this thread because I thought there was a chance to join an actual game.

count there are over 100 people playing 5th here this week. they want to apply to specific games to play. not talk aboutt talking about playing.

In short - there is interest. Post an add for a game - they will come.

Ah but it usually takes a willing GM to run a gam and as for this post I wa mimicing other interest checks on the forums here that draw interest first and look to see what times are best for those interested. I didnt mean to offend the world by sucessfully getting your attention.

Pirate, it sounds like you are slowly getting to the point that everyone is suggesting you create a thread with the title: LF 5e DM and _(# of players) players for ___(Insert day of week), ____(insert time of the week) - ____(Setting / homebrew - optional) If you are looking to start a group, and don't list your times/days you aren't going to get anywhere as no one will know when you are available and looking for a game. If you just want to talk about 5e, then there are other forums for that. Hopefully that answers any questions you have. Good luck!

If it helps clarify things, Indigo, when folks are submitting 'interest' posts they're generally for less common game systems. No knock against the countless awesome systems, but by comparison D&D and PF will always have interest and a large pool of players looking for a game. LFG forum posts are, as James and others suggested, primarily geared for folks looking to join a game. Heck, if you can't find a GM try running a game yourself. This community is exceptionally supportive of new GM's who are also learning.

Right, with what Mark is saying, if you just even say LFG 5E - Player with availability __ , ___ might even work for you.
