Sounds like fun! Let me throw my name in the ring and see what happens!  Name: Star Age: 46 Location/Timezone: Central Time Experience Level: Quite a few years under my belt on both sides of the screen Why do you play D&D and what is your favored style of play:   For the simple fun and enjoyment of being able to step into someone else's shows. As for my favorwed style of play, games with high levels of RP are way more enjoyable to me compared to one with high combat. Give me a good story to boot and I am set. Campaign Expectations: One that is ran fairly and told in an interesting way. Sure, anyone can read from a book but it is how you present your ideas to the players. If you can take a campaign and mold it to be more interesting to where even someone who has ran it before goes "wow". Character Idea:  Fedra Sigmord, Kobold Oath of Devotion Paladin. Freya was always told she was to small to be anything, not even a shopkeeper due to her smaller size. Determined to show everyone that she can infact do anything the other "Talls" can do, is inspired by a dream from a lovely silvered dragon lady, to become a Paladin who follows the Goddess Tamara. (Do have other ideas but this was the first one to come to mind)
Name: Richard      Age: 32 Location/Timezone: Florida (EST) Experience Level: I have been playing D&D since around 2017 and have played in several campaigns with friends from IRL. The last game I was in I was DMing a game of Tomb of Annihilation that went on for about 2 years. That game ended about 6 months ago due to conflicts with player availability and I am looking to get back into the game as a player. Why do you play D&D and what is your favored style of play: I play D&D because I find it to be a very unique game where you can truly do whatever you want and watch your actions effect the outcome & the world dynamically. I think my favorite style  of game would be RP and group dynamics that build to climactic battles, and inter group character growth (specific relationships that form between party members). If by style you mean what type of character, I enjoy playing most of the roles I enjoy tanking, more likely the paladin type, or playing support / battlefield control as well, I have been thinking of playing a bard or warlock/paladin multi class could be fun. Campaign Expectations: I guess my exactions would be just to have a good time with all of the players and watch our characters grow and develop as the story progresses. Character Idea: For a character idea, I would be willing to fill for the party or play whatever makes sense to round out the party, maybe a bard or paladin or cleric/druid depending onw hat would make sense. For a character idea of a bard, I was thinking of a young adventurer (somewhat naive) that was raised by rich parents and has maybe a romanticized view of the world and its glory. So, depending on the level I was thinking of playing a College of Lore bard that has set out to experience all of the fantastic  things the world has to offer, writing down his story to bring back & show his parents and other family members. This is more or less just an initial idea and I would love to flesh it out some more with a more in depth backstory, if we want to continue with it & play together. Feel free to message me on Discord if you would like to talk more about playing! illann#2065
I'll add in my name as well. I hope to hear back from you in the future. Name: Mars Age: 26 Timezone: Canadian CST Experience Level: I have played 2 long last campaigns that spanned over the course of a year, 1 one shot, and the start of Curse Of Strahd (which didn't continue due to dm mental health). I ran my own homebrew one shot that lasted 3 months. I am comfortable with improv and role play, and am confident in most mechanics, and with prewritten modules. I can often find my own niche to cover in any group. Why do you play dnd/ what is your style?: I play dnd for the fun of it. I love weaving a story and creating memorable moments in and out of game with those that play. I am very invested in my characters and can become very hyperfocused on story. I take notes frequently. I enjoy teasing, saving, or even romancing npcs- but not other players. I have been told my dnd troupe falls under "instigator" and "story teller". I tend to prefer a team of players who are confident with working together. Campaign Expectations: It isn't cancelled or cut short. 😂 I enjoy a story where every character feels like they have a reason to be there. Where their backstory is weaved in, and everyone gets a chance to shine. I do not enjoy railroading all the time, but I can take the hint and will often try to accomplish a goal if the dm is clear about it. I want to feel something when I play, and I enjoy bonds with npcs (romances or deep friendships) and playing off of each others strengths. I like to know that I am free to come to the dm at any time and speak my mind, and they theirs. I do not enjoy non-consent, anything regarding children, too much fps style vibes, or denial of player agency. I am only available on weekends or weekdays after 5pm cst. Character Idea: I have many. Whatever character sheet I have that fits what the party might need, I can do. Otherwise, I only have 2 characters I really want to play at some point. One is a dhampir abberant mind sorcerer from guide to ravenloft (+1 homebrew ability that can be discussed), one who has "connections" to BG3. One is a Fairy Moon Circle Druid from the new Witchlight Carnival books. Both are ready to be added in at any level. If another role is required, I have multiple characters in waiting, all 5e ready.
