Player Booking Link [Adventure Hook] After a strange tarokka reading, the legendary vampire hunter, Rudolph van Richten, has called for several unique individuals who he believes are capable of finally ending the vile vampire, Strahd von Zarovich's reign over the lands of Barovia. The evil beast has located and secured several artifacts capable of destroying him. The location of each has been predicted by the cards to be hidden somewhere deep within the walls of Castle Ravenloft. The time is now and the choice is yours, but do not linger and wait! Because Strahd Must Die Tonight! [Game Info] This is a 4.5-5 hour one shot that will have you exploring the infamous Castle Ravenloft as your party searches for several artifacts that pose a major threat to Strahd. After 4 real world hours no matter how much progress you've made Strahd himself will appear for the final showdown after growing tired of trespassers trampling through his castle. The premise is simple and straightforward but traversing through the castle will be a challenging experience. [Technical Requirements] The game will be played on Roll20 with voice/video handled through Discord so make sure you have an account with both. There's no requirement to be on camera but you have to have a decent enough mic for me and the other players to hear you. It's Spooktober so all players are encouraged to dress up and get in the spirit! (Even if you opt to just use voice there's nothing stopping you from dressing up!) [Character Creation and Session 0] The rules for character creation are simple: You will create an 8th level character - Use published races and classes -Use point buy for ability score. -One piece of nonmagical armor, and shield if needed. -2 non magical weapons (3 if dual wielding). -A spellcasting focus or component pouch for spellcasters. -100 gp to spend on adventuring gear. -1 rare magic item of your choice with DM approval. A session 0 will take place at 30 minutes before game time so all players can introduce themselves, go over character intros, and go over any lines that should not crossed.
