A problem that many people are running up against is tokens linked to character sheets can’t be updated from the token editor, only from the token bubbles.
I haven’t been bothered yet as a 13th Age GM, I’ll see on Thursday night.
Specifically, Tokens with bars linked to attributes cannot be edited from within the token editing panel. They can still be edited from the bubbles. This behavior may change due to user feedback.

If you've been gone long enough, you missed when it all began a little more than a month ago. The Token issue of the last 24 hours that Andrew is referring to concerns one single aspect of the Token issues (the inability to assign Tokens to Character Sheets).
