Question about Roll20 WebRTC Avatar Locations

Recently I've joined a table where my GM changed the default avatar locations to better distribute them on their screen and set the Movable Avatar/Video Screens is set to "GM Controlled". However, even when I reset the player video/avatar location, the position only changes on my side until I resize anything on the screen, forcing it to snap back to a position I don't like. I would like to know if this is intended or not, because I saw on https://wiki.roll20.net/Video_and_Voice_Chat#Relocating_Player_Avatars_Around_the_Tabletop that if Player Controlled is enabled, the avatar positions would only save locally, so it would make sense for players to at least use the default position if they want to, since the change would only happen locally.

Hi Layla! Have you brought this up with your GM and suggested they switch to "Player Controlled"? They may not be aware of the setting.
I did. But my question still remains. Is it working as intended? In the sense that even using the reset option the position is forced to go back to where the GM placed the avatars.
