DM LF3M for a Silent Kingmaker Pathfinder game

Ok so I am planning to run a silent (IE no voice, just using the Rd20 text) Pathfinder game using the Kingmaker adventure path. For those who arn't familiar, Kingmaker stands in a different light than the other AP's in being that it is designed to be more "Sandbox" style as opposed to linear. For those curious as to why i chose to use a silent method as opposed to voice, it is mostly due to the extra flavor that can be given rp wise. Actions can be described in detail, which benefits immersiveness. It also allows "side" rp between players relatively easy without having people talk over each other, and can allow for easier archiving of what was said and done throughout the game. My only requirements are: Somewhat decent grammar and spelling (or at least know how to use the built in spellcheck ;D) Must be 18+ Must be able to type relatively fast. The silentness of the game does slow it down for a bit, until people are able to get a rhythm for it, but it usually ends up fine. Charecter creation will be done at table and will be discussed during that time. The game itself will be held on Thursdays, more than likely around 7 PM central time. If you are interested, drop a comment here or PM me(I tend to check PM's first).
I would be very interested if this were Friday or Saturday, but Thursday I can't make.

I'm interested in playing and can make the time. I also primarily play text-based/silent so that works for me. For character creation are we doing it the 28th and then starting the actual campaign on Sept 4th?
More than likely if we can get the people together. Add me on skype if you have it so we can talk more. neoxism

Im just trying to give you a few additional options and advice here (not trying to join) - all of the options you describe here can be achieved using voice chat (Raidcall is a good one, and so is skype). many voice chat apps have a good system for private messages which allows your players to have private conversations in text while you as a gm deal with more immediate concerns. I have found a combination of voice and texting the best option, since the spoken word brings with it a sensation of the Immediate (very usefull when your story requires an OMG moment). the spontaneous and oft more sincere reactions you get with voicechat for outweigh the often bland and carefully considered reactions you get from texting - although it is part of the RPG experience to adjust your reactions according to your role i have found that even the most seasoned player is subjects to this, even if he is aware of his role and how he wishes to portray it.
