"Chat as:" sorting/folders

When using many NPCs, the "Chat as:"  drop down list is a bit long and confusing. It's just hard to find the needed NPC quickly. It would be nice, if you could sort the list by any means or have it appear with the same folder structure, that the PCs and NPCs are organized. Maybe even expandable folders would be possible.
