As you can tell from name of this post I am looking for 2 players to join a new group of Investigators as they plumb through the mystery that is Call of Cthulhu. Now because of the nature of the game I am going to somewhat picky with the players I invite as this is a story driven as well as player driven game as well. If kicking ass without really delving to deep into characters is your thing then this game is NOT for you. So here is some info about the game. When: This game will be played every other Friday. There is no set time as it will depend on schedules but the plan is to be sometime after 6pm EST/EDT Medium: We will be using mics and skype. As with the mic thing, I would like only those that don't have screaming children, barking dogs or the like going on in the background. I understand that sometimes noisy shit happens and that is cool but not when it is constant. Setting: The game is going to be set in New York City and will start during February of 1937 Who: I'm looking for players that want to delve into not only their characters but the story itself. People that have no problems taking the reigns, so to speak, to play out scenario's. I plan to frequently ask for the players to describe people/things/locations that are important to their characters so being able to do so is needed. Players that love a good mystery, riddles and investigation style games are my target players so if that is you and you like the genre then shoot me a message. For those interested feel free to respond on here or to send me a message via PM. In that message tell me about yourself and what you love about the game. I do not want to hear about your character ideas just yet. As a GM/ST/DM/Rule Keeper or what ever you wish to call it, I always have a session zero where the players and I get together and not only have a meet and greet but also a character creation time. This allows for the players to know what they are going to be working with as well as ask any questions they have. I do houserule some stuff just to streamline the game a little more (specially for new players) so I also go over all that during the session zero as well. After a week or so (assuming I get applicants) I am going to ask to speak to some via skype in order to get a better feel for the players and see what kind of a mic they have. I always record my sessions as I always keep the possibility of doing a podcast open. I currently run a D&D and a Shadowrun podcast so I have lots of experience with them. I am not saying this will definitely become one, I just keep the option open. Also recording makes it easier for me to "take notes" in the game cause I can just listen to stuff again lol.
Bump.
I'm interested!
I'm going to keep the interest going till the 28th of this month and then I will start the second round of applications.

I'm interested as well. I've only ever played on Google Hangouts... so this would be new to me. Call of Cthulhu is my favorite game that I never get to play. At the moment I play in a RL Pathfinder game. Mostly I'm interested in horror and mystery and the weird.
