Edit: Thanks to the comments below, I turned "Hardware Acceleration" back on for my browser, which appears to have solved the problem! I'm having very specific lagging issues on maps from premade modules. The obvious culprit was the more sophisticated dynamic lighting features, but even removing extra light sources and tokens (particularly anything with vision or emitting light) doesn't seem to have a noticeable effect. It also doesn't appear related to campaign or map size. A basic map I create and do all the lighting for gives me no problem, suggesting campaign content isn't the problem, and I don't have issues on my very large maps. It's only those I import using the transmogrifier from premade modules. It's also disappointing because it's an issue even on Wizards of the Coast adventures, so presumably the maps are popular/regularly used. It also weirdly only affects me, my players are fine. Hardware isn't the issue (I probably have a better PC than all but one or two of my players) Any ideas on improving performance? I was really excited to start using the transmogrifier to pull maps from other campaigns to save me time on my homebrew campaigns, but the maps are essentially unusable unless I can reduce the lagging.
