[Generic System] Looking for my own bunch of "Nerdy-arsed … Players"

This may be a cry in the wilderness but I'm tired of railroads and GMs  who treat "the story" as a combat scenario with no chance for the characters to influence the results. Combat and what not has its place, I'm looking for a group committed to roleplaying: to dramatic, co-operative improvisational story telling.   I'd be wiling to run, or to play, and I am proficient in a number of systems (Traveller, Star Wars, Palladium) but I consider the system to be un-important.   Hopefully I'll hear from someone.  Looking to tell great stories. Davidicus.
I hear your Mercer call. I'm UK based but could hopefully fit in with the time difference if you're elsewhere. I've played some of these systems but a very long time ago. Keep me in mind. Mal
Heard your cry. Will PM. Let me know what you think.
Hi you have me interested I'm UK as well don't know what day or time you are thinking of playing but it could work for me possibly. I only play d&d5e been playing for over a year still in one long term campaign but dropped out of another one
I'm representing a group of 3 looking for a 5e DM. We want role play but are not combat adverse. See my posting for more info :3.
Hello all - if anyone based in GMT (or around that time zone) is interested in a Weekly Wed night game (6-9pm UK) then you would be welcome to join us! It's D&D but in a Shadowrun (Cyberpunk) setting. It's not combat-focused - favouring creative solutions rather than engaging in combat - and has a good mix of playstyles as I am running weekly episodes (one shots) and we are focussing on the OSR style of play where exploration is a key pillar in a strange and weird sci fi fantasy setting. Disclaimer: Not answering the Mercer Call - just offering something different. New players are welcome to check it out before making any commitments!  Check  this link out to the post  if interested. Thank you!
I'm very interested, Dave S!  I've been trying to find an immersive role-playing/storytelling game. I hope that you do consider using video, I find it really helps with connection between players/characters.
