Hello everyone! 'Tis the Ashley here! I am looking for either an AD&D 2nd Edition game, D&D 3.5 Edition game, or D&D 5th edition game on Wednesday mornings or early afternoons. The time of the session would have to be where it officially ends by 5pm EST. I am free Wednesday mornings from 8:00am to 5:00pm EST, so the best window of starting game is between 8am - 1pm EST. I hope that didn't confuse you. ^^;
HOW MUCH AM I WILLING TO OFFER: $12.50 US per session (or $50 US per month).
WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR: AD&D 2nd Edition, D&D 3.5 Edition, or D&D 5th Edition DM and Group
HOW LARGE OF A PARTY SIZE IS COMFORTABLE FOR ME: 4 - 6.
WHAT KIND OF PLAYER AM I: I am a 60 - 40 heavy roleplayer / combat player, though I sometimes fluctuate to 55 - 45 or 65 - 35. But one thing I do emphasize a lot on is character, character development, background story, and character drive. I've been called a min-maxer on a couple of occasions but it's not true; I'm a niche player. I find a role and a personality and I lock right into it. For example, my Paladins are very classical Lawful Good Paladins that I roleplay in accordance to the alignment. That very charismatic look, but not flaunting it, the example of a holy knight, and devoted to her religion as opposed to a man (or another woman). I play many other classes as well, though I like to stick to what I'm good at. I ALWAYS play Human, and the DM is always right, even if the book may say otherwise. I'm an 18+ roleplayer who roleplays it all - The good, the bad, and the very ugly. And last but not least, I play with only other players and DMs who are 18+ as well, so that way I don't have to watch language or hold my tongue on explanations, etc..
WHAT KIND OF DM AM I LOOKING FOR: One who's not afraid to challenge me. One who makes intelligent villains (I've seen a few DMs where they make villains only for the party to wipe them out in 1 round). Challenging battles where we can't just hack and slash our way through everything, ones where we need to strategize, use our heads, and think. A roleplayer, who will roleplay out various scenes, confrontations, and conflicts. If I am running through a burning street with buildings collapsing, people dying, and children and women screaming for help, I don't want that experience diluted - Explanations go a long way. I am looking for tribulations that will also affect my character or the party as a whole (example: We've earned the great respect of many, but a rogue general in an army stages a coup against the kingdom and since we are allies and help the kingdom out, we're sought after by the rebellion and attempted to be captured or slain). The more life and death (light and dark) you put into your game, the more I invest in it and want to be in it.
MY TABLETOP EXPERIENCE: Gods, where does a girl start? AD&D 2nd Edition, D&D 3rd Edition, D&D 3.5 Edition, (First rule about D&D: You do NOT... TALK.. about 4th Edition!), D&D 5th Edition, D20 Modern, Star Wars D20 Revised, Exalted, World of Darkness 2nd Edition (Mage: The Ascension/Vampire: The Masquerade), Rogue Trader/Dark Heresy Warhammer 40K Tabletop... I've been gaming for over 25 years. ^^;
