Seem to be having problems. No one (not me the GM, nor any of the players) can use the chat box, nor can anyone use the dice. We can use everything else (character sheets, move the tokens, lighting effects, etc.). Anyone else experiencing the same?
Oh, forgot to mention. No one has 3d dice turned on. We've also tried clearing the chat log, and it'll clear it for a sec but everything reappears when we try to type anything or roll dice again. And for rolling the dice fails: macros fail, typing the roll into the chat fails, and the dice tool on the toolbar also fails.
When you clear the chat log are you clearing it internally (in the VTT) or externally (on the website)? I suggest having the GM clearing it externally.
If you are externally clearing the chat it should absolutely not be coming back. Are you using API scripts? Extensions? If you are, try disabling them. Which browser are you using? Does the problem exist in other games? If not, try copying your game to see if it persists in the copy. Make sure you copy without the chat logs. Have you sent in a bug report to the Devs? If not here is the link . (The forums are mostly for users helping users.)
Just to make sure there's no miscommunication, here are links to each process, in my standard Chat Fixing blurb: A game's Creator is often able to fix issues with their Text Chat by clearing the Chat Archive (note: not clearing your current Chat Log ). A GM might want to copy/back up the Chat Archive before the Creator clears it.
