My accounts seem to be signing themselves out and would require a sign-in whenever I opened a new character sheet in game.

I'm not sure what's causing this, but in my afternoon game today whenever I tried to open a character sheet or share a picture with players, I had to sign back into roll20 over and over.  The workaround wasn't hard, just annoying and time-consuming because it would slow down rate of play as I had to continually sign-in then re-open the character sheet.  My players said they weren't having the issue, so I'm not sure why it was happened or how to repro it.   So just to be a little more specific.  When I try to open a character sheet, the character window would pop up with a sign-in prompt.  Also, when I shared that character with my player account (used to stream player views), it would also require me to sign in on that player account as well (in the character sheet window).

Some questions:  1) Which browser are you using? 2) Have you tried another browser? 3) Have you tried private or incognito mode?
I'm using Chrome and Edge, both are having the issue. I might switch over to Opera for my evening game. I haven't tried either of those no, but I can look into it.

Chrome and Edge are basically the same browser under the hood. So they may have similar issues depending on your settings.  I suggest trying Firefox, see if it happens that way.
So I think you were right.  It seems like Chrome, Edge, and Firefox all have this behavior (if I sign into one of them it signs me out on another.)  I found an easy work-around so I think I'm good now.  I would say, for streaming purposes it would be nice if you could sign into two different accounts on the same browser.

I think this is a browser limitation.  You can sign in twice with the same browser as long as one is running in private/incognito mode.  This keeps each instance of the vtt in discrete instances of the browser.  Otherwise, it just gets confused because it seems to see the vtt instances as related.  If you have 2 different games open in the same browser, then you get really odd behavior like refreshing a game and have it refresh as the other one.

The weird thing is I was doing this for years with no issues and only recently did the browsers start behaving badly.  I have one account for DMing and one for streaming which is a player account (another weird behavior as you think two separate accounts wouldn't effect each other like that). Perhaps it does have something to do with browser updates?
