You have been told horror stories of how a disgusting race of creatures called the Gort are invading and decimating distant lands and are now attacking your home island. Those who are captured by the gort (both man and beast), are enslaved and/or eaten. Some are used to host the gort larva that will incubate inside its victim then devour their hosts alive. Long ago the greats of your people repelled the gort. They built magic weapons and temples to aid and bless warriors who would defend the island. Many of their ancient tombs, lost shrines to the gods, and powerful weapons have been abandoned and lay waiting for the next generation of heroes to discover. These are deep in forbidding dungeons that are defended by spirits, magic and beasts which only the brave can survive. Collect magic items to boost your religion/magic skill capabilities, study the arts in schools of fighting skills and become a deadly assassin. Use your intelligence and learning skill to become an expert in sailing the high seas or polish your music skills to serenade dragons into divulging their ancient knowledge. The world is a vast collection of many medieval islands and many types of cryptid beasts and creatures that await you. The time has come for you to set sails and defend your coastal waters and liberate your people from gort ships. Kill the Gort and steal their treasure to finance your cause. Or take the offensive and raid their homelands and slay their children before they grow into an army that will destroy your entire race. Your God has blessed you with a few spells and prayers to protect you and help you against your enemies, but you will have to fight with your weapons and courage if you want to succeed. With the favor of your lord you might be able to survive or at least kill your share of the gort so you can die with honor. In season one the crew fought off the Calitines, a group of winged creatures that had been taxing production of the island. Befriending a dragon they were lead to the forest of healing springs. They freed a race of underground Mole people called the Malta held captain by the Calintines, and helped them make peace with a fish race mercenaries called the Sifa. They regained the Moleta sacred temple from the Calintines and were rewarded by the Moleta people. Together they took a Seaside Calitine fortress full of loot and with Sifa help raised a half sunken ship and repaired it. All while fighting off a crew of ghost pirates that haunted thier captain. Season 2 the crew Survived a hurricane, docked for repairs in a town, fought off a gort landing party, Liberated a town from an evil wizard slave master where they were celebrated only to have the town taken over by a witch. Using magic weapons they acquired from a wizards castle and dungeon they drove off the witch who was trying to steal a magic cat from them that could not seem to be killed. While escaping the witch planted many spell book traps that wished the crew away to alternate worlds that could only be left by defeating the magic puzzles and creatures that existed on their pages. They freed a dragon from an ancient trap and he rewarded them with new weapons and magic powers. They destroyed a temple the witch was using to build power to raise an army of minions. Season 3 started where the crew left off , the witch had taken a castle, the home of the magic cat and a powerful hero wizard. The witch defended it with and army of constructs she had made from fields of farm crops. Many lives were given to breach the walls of the fortress, and the witch was forced to retreat to the wizards dungeon. She is hiding among dangerous traps designed by the wizard to keep evil from entering but could also slay our heros. Join the fight now on season 3 of Firewinds Of the Seas! THIS IS A CLASSLESS AND RACELESS RPG SYSTEM You are a barbarian/wizard/rogue/assassin/healer/bard - you can (and will need to) do it all - you don't have to count on party members to save you . You are not prohibited from doing things by stupid class and race restrictions designed to disable your character. YOU DON'T NEED TO WASTE HOURS MAKING A CHARACTER TO START Your first game you are a redshirt - a 0 level character with crappy stats who will likely get killed. After you play a game and if I like you I will invite you to make a character and continue playing. I made it simple to learn and make characters, so it will only take 10-20 minutes. YOU DON'T NEED A BACKSTORY TO START Your starting role will be a supporting character that helps our “Royalty Players”. The story and plot is written around them and their backstory. If you play with us on a regular basis you will become a royalty player and the story will evently be written around your backstory. THIS IS A PLAY WHEN YOU CAN SERVER - it is OK to JOIN LATE - or - LEAVE EARLY - or - MISS SESSIONS. We have a great group of 3-5 players that play about 2-5 times a week or whenever we can. When you leave or don't show up your character will walk away or rejoin the party, but the story will always go on with or without you. It would be great to set a time/day when everyone can play but we are not going to skip just cause someone can't make it. FOLLOW THE STORY, DONT BE A MURDER HOBO, BE A HERO This is a hybrid between a campaign and a one shot, Only a limited amount of railroading when necessary to advance the story in an endless open world setting. This is a story of heros- not murder hobos rapists, if you want to be a murder hobo rapist please find friends somewhere else. We love to hate on people that are mean, selfish, greedy, demand special treatment or are disruptive to the game or story line, and will throw you out of it if you are. BE COOL, We play to be social and make friends. If you're not a nice person who wants to make friends and hang out with others and help each other you're probably not going to fit in. if you just want to kill things go play a fps, if you just want to roleplay go play sims online, if you want to bond and fight for glory with fantasy friends to save the kingdom come join us.
