The Red Wizard had been captured. He had been chained and tossed before the Jarl's court where he had pleaded for his life. He had claimed that the profane actions that he had done was, admittedly by his hand, but not of his own will. Lies and excuses, surely. He was no priest of Arkyna, for why else would he fear to swear by her name? The sentence was death, and rightly so. Remaining however, were a few troubling facts. The artifact he had found was a mystery, his motive was still unclear, and every sign pointed towards him not acting alone. Who had sent him down this path? These "Sisters" from Saari? Some confidant in the bustling metropolis of Ermos, where he evidently had lingered? Something else? Either way the trail led east. Itham the Shapeshanger, Kaldi of the Mountains, Iaskar the Scholar and Avis the Sister of the Hunt; together the four made preparations for travel. Hiya! I am looking for an additional player for an ongoing 5E campaign. The group is made up of three experienced players and one beginner. What I want from you is simply an engaged player who wants to explore their character and the world around them. The tone of the game is fairly serious and while there will be plenty of enemies and dungeon crawling, some sessions will be primarily roleplaying and social interactions. For this game we are using a couple of house rules (see https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/12q2E_hV5qQVNCQJkzQ3_pkZ6i3njaevD?usp=sharing ), and for lore reasons I have limited what races and classes are playable (see: https://docs.google.com/document/d/164btfeevDRbpalr_ERLezyngxT1D_wVTzvSadVj2oYg/edit?usp=sharing ). The setting is my own, but it is fairly similar to other high fantasy settings. If you are familiar with Faerûn, Tamriel or Azeroth, then you would feel right at home here as well. I've kept the core races recognizable, but added some of my own spin or flavor to them If you are interested then I would like you to send me the following: The timezone you are in and what time and days of the week you would be available A brief description of yourself What are you looking for in a game / what is your style of play? One or two character ideas (that you would like to play), just a short description about three sentences or so If you have any questions feel free to ask! Friendly regards Arky

Thanks for your replies! I'll be going through the answers one by one, might take a while :) Joseph J. said: The timezone you are in and what time and days of the week you would be available: CST and Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun Note that this game is CET/GMT+1, that's Central European Time, not Central Standard Time.
Hi, I'm Alex! I'm from America, in CST timezone. My schedule tends to line up with European timezones, due to having mornings as my off time. I know there's some current tomfoolery with Daylight Savings time between us right now, but I think I'm usually about seven hours earlier than Germany, for instance. My time window is between 6-11ish am CST. I can play any weekday except Wednesday. (I'm DMing Strixhaven!) My preferences would be Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, with Friday being the best, but I could do Monday if needed. Basically- not Wednesday, and not weekends. A brief description of me- I'm a guy in my 30's from Alabama! I try to be considerate to everyone, and I love to meet new people. Currently addicted to the video game Grounded. I've played D&D 5e since about 2015 or so I believe. Most of my time has been spent as a DM. I've run Lost Mines of Phandelver 4 times, Curse of Strahd 3 times, Dungeon of the Mad Mage once, parts of Out of the Abyss, Tomb of Annihilation, and Storm Kings Thunder, and a few smaller Call of Cthulhu campaigns, along with countless one-shots. I've played several campaigns as well. My style: Hmmm... I love character development. I also love creating in-game relationships with others, whether good or bad. Combat is always a blast too! As far as what I expect though- the usual! Story, combat, and fun banter. Character ideas: I've got a few fun ideas, but I'm willing to play a class that the party needs! I was thinking about an elven Circle of The Shepherd druid, focused on Conjuration, who's basically a cleric of Selune and a natural leader, strong and serious. I also was thinking of playing Kieryn, a happy, slightly doofy Teifling Light Cleric of Lathander who I played long ago! She has a high pitched voice (which heavily contradicts with my low voice lol) and loves to meet people and stand up for her friends, while also being a bit blind to less obvious problems, like a happy paladin lol. The best solution is the most direct! She uses her infernal flames to do good in the light of Lathander. Edit: Okay, according to the race restrictions, tieflings are a no-go. Hmm... How about a Sun Elf race instead? Channeling the sun god for a good sunburn. Anyway, I hope I'm a good fit, and I hope our time schedules align! I'd love to give it a try! It's quite a bit more restricted than the traditional 5e, but still sounds like it would be fun! Thank you!
Hi, thank you all for taking the time. I've found a player to fill the spot. I wish you the best of luck on finding a game! Friendly regards Arky
