I am running Dungeon of the Mad Mage, which I purchased through Roll20, and one of my players was having trouble with their mouse moving their character. So, I power moved them through the dungeon. I inadvertently went through a wall, which allowed them to see EVERYTHING on the map. This was not momentarily, but permanently. We were at the end of our session, so I had time to fix it, or so I thought. I read through the forum, and there were other suggestions. regarding changing browsers, reloading Javascript, etc, none of which was my situation (as I somehow inadvertently gave them this ability mid-session). I thought I had it fixed; as GM, I went into the game as their characters, everything looked as it should. However, next session, the player could still see everything. Odd. I even deleted their tokens, added new ones in, but that didn't work. I put the token on a new level, and things were working as before, so I figured, it was something I had done to the player for that level, which I couldn't figure out. I was kind of desperate, so I tried copying and duplicating the entire map. I knew it would screw up the explorer mode lighting, but, i was running out of ideas. For some reason, this worked. It did eliminate all the explorer mode lighting, and all the doors that were opened were now closed. It was annoying, but in the grand scheme, it was minor: the lighting worked as intended, and the adventure could continue. I'm posting this here just in case someone else runs into a similar situation; this was an inelegant solution, but it worked.
