The kingdom of Haven has recently been freed from its magical
slumber, thwarting the ambitions of a power-hungry arch-fey in the
process. As trusted agents of the throne you are charged to escape the
agents of her rivals, assess what has come of Haven's lands while it
slept, and restore contact with haven's allies to the southeast. You
must journey through dangerous lands, survive marauding bands and
hostile soldiers, seek allies, and aid those allies in clearing the
lands of orcs, undead, corrupt priests, and hidden dangers. Gameplay Information Enjoy
a strange and dark land, crouching in the faded shadow of a
centuries-ago war, the ruins of the lost civilization just beneath the
rocky ground, groves full of dark fey and restless graveyards,
monsterous bandits stalking darkened roads, and a suspicious and
superstitious population who huddle behind guarded gates and ward the
spirits from their door with circles of salt.
Enjoy hardcore-style play with tactical combat, unbalanced
encounters, and clever monsters! Make choices that affect the world!
Create a character that will become a hero, make a name for themselves,
and work to fight the growing darkness! Play in the spirit of OSR in the
D&D Basic module updated for 5e! It is very much a sandbox, with
NPCs, locations, and secrets to unlock!

opportunities for 5e skill and action mechanics, with plenty of
opportunity to bring in backstories and roleplay!

party has entered the area of Bone Hill, a darkness hangs over the land.
They have scoured a bandit hideout, found a deed to an abandoned house,
and have found a restless graveyard in an old thicket, currently cleave
their way through zombies as the approach a wailing host.
Now the party (3 halflings and a kobold) have stumbled into the secret of bone hill! A
connection between the dark fey Arik, the sundancer gang, and the
mysterious ruins of bone hill. The party has fought their way into the
gang's hideout, through roper traps, giant spiders, and a clever series
of ambushes. Now the small company is inside planning their next move
through the decrepit forest manor, and wondering what the next move of
the gang will be. They know that the graverobbing thugs have more tricks
in store for the invading pcs!
