Looking for Players

Hello shut-in adventurer and perhaps future Wayfinder! You have stumbled here so stay a while and listen. My friends and I live in our basements like troglodytes and thus we were mostly unaffected by COVID-19. That's all because we live very far from each other and/or have terrible social disorders. I jest! Mostly I'm referring to just myself! I'm looking for a few players to play some D&D, specifically a campaign. Everything will be provided for you though you are expected to bring yourself and be able to use discord for voice communications, and you must have a PC. The games will be hosted sometime around mid-day on Saturdays (EST) If you can do that hit me up and I may have a spot for you in one of my games. Don't worry if you're new to D&D. I'll teach you. Hi Caliburnus, I am currently looking for a D&D 5e group to join as a player and I would like to be considered for your campaign. Do you intend to run fifth edition? Also, what sort of campaign are you planning to run? Is this something homebrew, or a prefab campaign? Is there a certain theme, or feel you want to go for, like grimdark or heroic? What level would we start at? For character creation, do you want to stick to the core rule books, or would you allow classes and races from expansion books like Xanithar's or Mordenkainen's? Those are all the questions I can think of to barrage you with right now. Thanks

*insert self burn about being socially awkward here* My Saturdays just opened up completely and would be very interested in playing. I have experience with 5e but not to much with roll 20.

@Daniel B  It will be 5th edition. It will be a mix between High Fantasy and gritty Dark Fantasy with a healthy smattering of political/diplomatic intrigue. We will be starting at 5th level but we will be making characters together in a session 0. All published material is allowed. Hi there, new to D&D aside from a 4 week beginner's campaign and a short home-brew that had a looseness to it. I am free on Saturdays and was wondering how often you plan to have sessions and how long the sessions would be? I am new to roll20 and do have a discord. I created characters on paper sheets before but did use DnD beyond once (not sure if you have a preference for how to do characters). Would definitely be interested if there is still room!
