Can't move library assets to map.

I can click on the image or text or white area of an item in "my library" drag it onto a map and it doesn't place. Tokens still work. New map/old map/blank map nothing. Different pages / Different games Firefox or chrome. I'm on a currently updated w10

Tokens in journal work. Anything in the art library doesn't.

I've seen one or two reports of this, but cannot duplicate. What browser are you using? Have you experimented using a private browsing window?
On firefox and chrome. Edge isn't installed or I would have tried that. Private window doesn't help. I've cleared cache too.

Can you provide of a screenshot of your browser when you try to drag an image from the Art Library? Would like to see if there is something that might be a problem.

Alright, I'm going to hazard a guess here, since this is the second time I have seen someone trying to use those old Dundjinni assets and not being able to. This is my understanding: Years ago, Roll20 offered a google-powered web search in the art tab. Google eventually changed the conditions of their API license, and Roll20 could no longer offer the search service. They informed everyone and saved the last search as a snapshot. Whatever was in there would stay, but the search could never update. As time has passed on, a large number of those links have become dead. Saving with a right click doesn't really add the item to your Art Library, just a pointer. This is so they would not count against your storage quota: the original was on the web. From reports, it sounds like the old Dundjinni forums server has finally expired (the program itself did, long ago). You still have your pointers in you art library, but they don't point to an original anymore. There is no longer an original, at least not at that saved address. Roll20 did what it could, but it could not legally update the search results (and lacked the resources to do so--they are not a native search engine). I', hazarding a guess that there were legal complications in actually copying and storing the actual graphics the last Google search found. You would actually have had to download them and manually re-upload them into your account storage. This of course affects all dead links, not just Dundjinni. The bad news is, that those items likely no longer exist on the web and cannot be placed in a game.

Oddly, I can still use some old saved dundjinni assets. None of the ones from your video, though. Perhaps only some of them were nuked?
The thing is... Trap and Vera are added by me some many years ago and I still can't place them. Anything in the list above recent uploads doesn't work. I would understand if it was dundjinni stuff only but those two seem to indicate that isn't the case.

Hmm. Let's try some other approach, then. Have you tried using a private browsing window? I notice that you are using VTTES. Although that's usually safe, things change all the time.
I have tried private browsing. On both firefox and chrome. Disabled all addons for an attempt as well.

Your best bet then is to capture a Console Log ( Chrome , Firefox ) and file a Help Center Request . This sounds like it goes beyond community-level help.
I'll do that. My concern is that nothing is happening and it's across both browsers so there might not be anything to go on.

The console log may give them useful information if something is being blocked. Be sure to capture it from a time when you are unsuccessfully and successfully placing a graphic.
I second this issue. Art assets that I uploaded myself and that I can still pull from the recent upload list cannot be pulled from my library.

I have made a proper help center request but I wanted to wrap things here with some simple log stuff. I used chrome for the log since it's completely addon free and I've only used it twice this year. Two things to note. 1: There is no log created when things work. I pull from recent uploads and it's all good. 2: An orange log and a red log are created when things fail. Highlights are listed here for anyone who has similar problems that they can point to this message as reference. vtt.bundle.js:23788 [2022-12-08T19:50:32.052Z] @firebase/database: FIREBASE WARNING: Exception was thrown by user callback. M_Leon246 I didn't get around to sending in a ticket, but I've been working around it by searching the image in my library before dragging it onto the map. For some reason it works via search where otherwise I cannot pull from the library. Maybe you found a better solution?
