First time running had some problems

Ok. so i have a couple questions, Tonight i ran a adventure on Roll 20 had 6 people plus myself via Google+ and broadcasting Live, the problems were, when i started in Roll20 via Google hangout, and later starting up Google+ and inviting that way, i could not see my players video. all i could do was hear them. AND the roll20 interface wasnt onscreen meaning my players were when they talk , but no maps, nothing. last time we got together we did live character gen, o could see their video, but the Roll 20 still didnt film or what ever it does, but i know its supposed to show onscreen because there are videos on Youtube showing maps and combat and such.. And my next question , is when switching maps, or even before the first combat is there a way to give the players there character tokens, and control of them, or do we have to do it, everytime we change maps..?? i need help..

Tim, how were you getting to Google+? Did your players try to go through Roll20 to get to Google+ or were they going through Google+ directly? Did you try to refresh? Regarding switching maps, all you need to do is copy all of the tokens (you can do this at once by draging the highlight box over them all) and then hit copy. Paste them on the next map. - Gauss
ok i tryed to refresh but it didnt work first time i went in through roll20 , no video, next i went in via G+ everything for recording was enabled, BUT on the video capture, everyones cam was visible. But Roll20 was nowhere to be seen. Is there anyway to give characters control of there tokens before i bring up the first map..?And during all of this They werent visible to me ..

Tim, could you label the steps you use to get into Roll20 via Google+? What video capture are you referencing? Regarding the 'first map' no. Tokens must be placed on a map, then you assign control to the players. Some GMs use a token map or a waiting room map for this purpose. From there you can copy the tokens and paste them on the map you wish them to be on. - Gauss
first time i went into the Google+ via the launch campaign in Google + on the roll20 campaign page. did everything needed to start the Hangout and set up Live broadcasting . No video of my players. THEN i went completely out of roll20 and BACK IN thru Google + following the same steps. Still no video of my players. Ideally when Roll20 is on, and everyone is playing, on screen it should show maps and the combat, Then when the session is over, You can watch it on Youtube. The video of my players, minus me because i dont have a cam was there, But nothing of the roll20 interface showed up Heres the session http://youtu.be/azETtEnzKM4

Ok, I apologize but I don't think I can help you. Perhaps one of the other Mods who have more experience with Google+ have seen this sort of problem before. - Gauss
I think this is a limitation of Google's Broadcasts on Air rather than Roll20. They just record the hangout part - the user videos - rather than the apps run in the hangout. Hopefully more features will get added in time. I'd like to be able just record the audio, for example, without having to wait for everything to be processed to YouTube video, then download and convert.
Spyke is correct, the Live feature of hangouts currently only supports the video chat. It does not stream any apps that you are using. If you want to live-stream your play session take a look at: http://help.roll20.net/misc-live-streaming/
Yep the issue with recording a Hangout App is that depending on the app each player could be seeing a different view of the app and right now Google+ has no way to designate where the "camera" is besides the video stream. However, one workaround is you join with a dummy/extra account, have that account screenshare their Roll20 session and then as the broadcaster lock your camera on their video stream (by clicking their name in the filmstrip at the bottom).
