Dynamic Lighting Glitch - Non-Existant Diagonal Lines Blocking Line of Sight

Hello, I've been using dynamic lighting since its release and haven't run into this kind of issue. I was trying to modify a forest so it wouldn't be completely open. There's a ton of trees, so I put down a bunch of circles, copied them, and covered the forest, rotating them randomly as I went. Well as soon as I put a token down, I realized it didn't work. I can't think of a way to describe the issue with words, so I've linked several screenshots that hopefully make the issue clear. The circles largely worked as intended, but diagonal lines appear to come off them blocking line of sight. At first I thought it was just a circle glitch, or maybe something to do with my copying and pasting. So I put down a little plus sign as a test and found it had the same issue. That's what's shown in the screenshots.
The circles are read by dynamic lighting as squares, at least at this size. That I understand and am fine with, however, each square seems to have a diagonal line coming off its bottom left corner and going up and left at a 45 degree slope. The + has the same issue, but the line comes off the top point of the plus.

Short version when it comes to DL:  Don't use freehand, don't use circles, only use polygon/lines, and never complete the polygon/line (head and tail meeting). Right click to complete them instead.  Any use of any other drawing tool other than polygon/lines for DL may result in unintended effects.  For circles polygon/lines can replicate circles if you use short enough line segments.

Are you using Legacy lighting by any chance? There is a bug where walls in LDL having closed polygons (where first_pt=last_pt) will create a phantom line toward the upper left corner of the map.

Circles are fine on modern DL. There used to be a bug with them not closing, but I think that has been quashed. Freehand is just bad, though and should be disabled on the DL layer. It produces far too many points for efficient handling.
I can try using bigger shapes, then? I'm not using legacy as far as I know.

That really does look like legacy lighting, given the squaring of the circles. I just ran some tests with a page of many circles, some rotated. Everything looks fine on DL, but terrible on Legacy. Can you post a screen shot of your token and page settings? For reference. Dynamic Lighting: Legacy Dynamic Lighting Circles and rotated shapes kill legacy lighting.

Seems like you're probably correct and I'm on legacy, then. Here are the token settings. I have legacy lighting turned Off. Is that not enough?

Those token settings indicate that the token is set for the current lighting system. How about the page settings? That's what really matters here.
Oh the page was set for legacy, it looks like. I didn't think to check there. I had updated some of the maps when UDL first came out, I guess. I didn't think about it here. Thanks!
