*PST Based, currently able to play any time during the week as long as its after 5pm, and any time on weekends. Mainly looking for a Crusader/Paladin/Warblade/Barbarian/etc. (Paladin and Barb have received large buffs) If you have any questions, please PM me here or add me on Skype @ hayes.grady.m (picture of a cat). First of all, the basics: - Total party size of 3, will decide schedules based upon player availability, hopefully playing once a week. - The world will be almost entirely homebrew, and any WOTC book is allowed (Tome of Battle, Book of Vile Darkness, even Dragon Magazine material as long as it goes through me first for the OK). - This will be a very high-power campaign, and the players will very likely die if they make the wrong choices in the wrong situation. If you choose to go to an area which I've planned to be far above your level and rush in without any planning or scouting, do not expect any sympathy when that Lich TPK's. Though, I won't be too harsh, you'll have warnings beforehand and chances to escape (to a point) if you're in over your head. - Powergaming is encouraged to a certain point. If you're a Venerable Dragonwrought Kobold or have to draw material for 20 different books, you're going to have a bad time. - I'm extremely open to player suggestion and love to hear feedback and ideas from my players as to what they're looking for in a campaign. A good character background and motivation makes my job a thousand times easier and provides a lot more immersion. - Anything not listed here is still being debated/discussed at this point. Starting level 6 42 Point-buy LA+1 Max (unless further discussed with me). 13,000 gold in gold/equipment (all equipment is suspect to DM review/veto, though most should be fine). A very brief background. Since none of the world has been revealed to you yet, it will be completely about the character: motivations, relationships with friends/family/religion, etc. If any city/town/region is needed, simply write it as X-City, Y-Region, Z-Religion, etc. Several changes to character creation. (Backgrounds, special Flaws, and more) Rule Variants and Class Changes: Druid/Wizard/Cleric/Archivist/Erudite are banned. (Healing will be taken care of through eternal wands/Belts of Healing/Potions, etc) Fighter has been completely removed and replaced with the Tome of Battle classes (Crusader, Warblade, Swordsage). Paladin and Barbarian have been buffed with Tome of Battle material (gain maneuvers and additional class skills). Racial Changes: Half-Orc and Half-Elf have no/reduced penalties to ability scores. Half-Orc: +2 Str, -2 Cha Half-Elf: +2 Dex, no penalties. Weapon Proficiency will be done using the Weapon Group Feats variant. http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/buildingCharacte... Also, any weapons are fair game. If they're not on that list, we can certainly find a place for them. In the Surprise Round, all ranged attackers may add their full Dex bonus to damage. On most Skillchecks, rolling a 1 gives you -10 on the check. Likewise, rolling a 20 provides a +10.
