Why am I too stupid to figure out maps?!

So, I am trying to run Iron Gods for a group on here, and admittedly, this is my first attempt at trying to use Roll20. However, I am beating my head against a wall trying to get the maps from Fires of Creation uploaded to my campaign. I can't seem to crop them in such a fashion that lines up with the grid on Roll20 and I am losing my patience. I know map requests are a thing - so does anyone have them? Or, if someone can tell me what the hell I am doing wrong, that would be great as well.
Have you gone through this thread? <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3688/map-alignment-and-you-or-101-ways-to-get-your-grids-in-a-row#post-563429" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3688/map-alignment-and-you-or-101-ways-to-get-your-grids-in-a-row#post-563429</a>

Heh! OldSchoolChris beat me to it. ;)
Yep - and it was worthless. I followed all the instructions, and not once did the highlighted area align right with the grid. So, I am looking for a means of just being able to freely move objects around without aligning to the grid. Is there a way to do that?

Please send me a join link and I will come take a look at your setup. Just a note, the highlighting process is just the first step to aligning the grid.
You can freely move stuff around by keeping the alt-key pressed when settling an image again, then it wont snap to the grid.
