Interest in Rifts at all?

Played the game once quite awhile ago and have some fond memories. Have the books in pdf form, looking for a group out there that wouldn't mind my noobness, thought I'd see if there was even any interest out there. For those that don't know what Rifts is, it has nothing to do with the MMO, but rather is a post apocalyptic setting where the governments have collapsed and leylines that allow for the use of magic have opened. I'd be interested but the rules always seemed very vague to me.

I played the game for a bit back in 1995 when I was traveling in south america with some friends and had a blast. I don´t know enough to run a game, but I think I remember enough to play (I think).

I'd definitely be interested. I GM a RIFTS game on a discussion board RPG site and actually joined Roll20 because I eventually wanted to move it to a site like this. I have to play around with this a little more, but would you all like to get a game started?

id be down to play in a rifts game im new to rifts though and need to freshen up on it. when are you wanting to play eg. day of the week and time

I am interested but I have never heard of this game. Looks like fun and I can usually pick up rules quickly.

In the Rifts game I played I was a spec ops character, but posed as an operator. The PC was a spec ops soldier from the mid 1990´s that got caught up in a rift and wound up in the rifts universe. Made it a bit easier for me as I was new to the game then. Good times :-)

I'd love to play if you can GM Joe, I'm rather sketchy on the rules personally so having an experienced GM would be amazing. I just got back in town yesterday and will send out messages to everyone tomorrow and see what we can get set up. Talk to you soon.
