Inaccurate values on PC tokens when dragging onto map

For a couple of months, now, I've had a really weird bug in the game I run. When I drag the PCs from the journal onto the map, to place their tokens, the token defaults to the hit point and temporary hit point values they had a level or two ago, rather than their current ones. If, however, I actively open their character sheet, then close it, and then  drag them onto the map, the hit point totals are accurate. But it then does the same thing the next time I try to drag them onto a new map, and so forth. Granted, opening the sheets first isn't the biggest deal in the world, but it's definitely a hassle, and I don't know what's causing the problem. I'm running Roll20 on Google Chrome, currently version  108.0.5359.111, on an Acer Chromebook. I've already cleared saved materials from my cache, and also tested in incognito mode, and the same problem occurs.
I've had this issue as well and have noticed a few others mentioning it.  I haven't seen any official response yet. -Adam

This has been a bug for awhile now.  A more 'permanent' (until you level again) workaround is to update the token to the character.  Drag to the table, make sure the token stats are correct, then edit the character and hit Use Selected Token.
Me Too. It came with their operation lightspeed that only loads resources if needed... (and thus not update values on tokens if the sheet was not opened before)... I always preset character tokens to map pages, and have noticed that hit points between different map pages aren't updating on the tokens...plus what has already been mentioned above.
