Essentially all of your characters armor, weapons, and other possessions are still aboard the Pax Imperialis, however all your armor and weapons are locked up until the various Hereteks aboard can figure out away to force the Machine Spirit to release them. Once the prisoners gain control of the holds, they'll have access to their other possessions, probably after fighting the other prisoners for them. Other than that you have either a yellow or green jumpsuit. While aboard the prison barge, those prisoners that could pay a premium spent all of their time locked in an extremely small cramped dark 'luxury' isolation cube or "lux' 'cube" with a reinforced drain in the floor, and several nozzles in the ceiling that could spray disinfectant, nutrient paste, or water into the cube and would do so every day. All the surfaces of the cube could also be electrified to punish the prisoner at the whim of the guards, however safety protocols prevented the voltage from becoming lethal. The "lux' 'cubes" also had a single triple locked magnetically sealed hatch in one side, with an armorglas mirrored porthole in it. The rest of the so called 'common' 'iso-cubes' were little more than open air cages barred on all sides that hung suspended from one another so that the filth from prisoners close to the ceiling would rain down upon those beneath them before eventually running into drains that led to the bilges where the reclaimators and recyclers where housed. Pipes pumped recycled nutrients and water from the bilges all the way up to massive occilating nozzels mounted in the ceiling that would spray a thin broth, disinfectant, or briny water onto the collection of cages that filled the Prison Holds, a cavernous maze of pitch black chambers linked together by dimly lit corridors aboard the ship, each corridor terminated at an automated security gates armed with no less than four twin-linked las pistol turrets. Cleverly concealed auto-bulkhead doors would randomly descend or recede from ceilings, floors, or walls to hide the corridors and change the lay out of the Prison Holds according to the arcane whim of the 'Warden'. Those 'cubes that hung nearest the floor were often the targets of the murder servitors that patrolled the Prison Holds. The skull faced abominations were programmed to play with the incarcerated if they wore anything other than a green jumpsuit. Many yellow-jackets were quickly reduced to so much bleeding meat and ragged clothes by the cruel ministrations of the murder servitors. Auto-pulleys and hydraulic power lifters could raise or lower individual 'cubes from near the ceiling all the way down to the floor at the command of the crew or the Warden, which was done when a prisoner needed to be incarcerated or transferred as well as when the Pax Imperialis was occasionally boarded by hostiles, a great jumble of 'cubes containing screaming prisoners does wonders to disorient invading troops, as well as provide cover for the murder servitors lying in wait. Mind you, a prisoner didn't want to be too high as the atmosphere was
much thinner up there and often filled with various airborne pollutants
from the industrial processes being carried out aboard ship. Meaning that those prisoners confined in high dock near the ceiling got cleaner broth or occasionally gruel sprayed out of pressurized hoses at them, but also tended to develop various respiratory illnesses as well as a persistent cough. Green jumpsuits were issued to snitches and trustees as a mark of status, and greenies (or greenskins as the rest of the prisoners liked to call them) received special privileges in exchange for various bribes or favors that they performed for the captain and the crew, such privileges included to use metal utensils at feeding times including small knives, which went along with the privilege to eat something other than nutrient paste that would usually be hand delivered to their "lux' 'cube." Often what greenies ate were corpse starch rations, and the privilege to leave the solitary confinement of their lux' 'cube to visit with either other prisoners (not a good idea) allowed them to barter such amenities away for other favors. The upshot of all of this is that manufactured weapons are two steps less available (-20) aboard the Pax Imperialis than they would off it. The regular crew had access to a few las pistols, and shotguns, the greenies had a few improvised weapons, and the various Murder Servitors had mono-blades and claws but most implements of death are locked behind massive auto-bulkhead doors controlled by the 'Warden', the vessels' Machine Spirit which doesn't want anyone to have them. For the safety of all.
