My Battletech table on Roll20

I finally saw another Battletech player here on the forums and he was cooking up something really awesome.  I thought I'd post my work so far and see if we can drum up some more interest. I've been making everything from scratch using paint and so far I have 8 'Mech tokens in silver and forest camo, as well as 2 maps made from scratch.  I have maps made in 70 x 70 pixel hexes and 100 x 100 pixel hexes only have a couple of textures so far.  All the mech parts as well as map components like the "level 1" "depth 1" etc are modular in a master paint workshop page, so I can snap things together and paint them into whatever map I want.  The mechs I paint one piece at a time, then cobble them together, so I can make new variants.  Basically, every time I draw a new part, like a cockpit or weapon or something, I save it off to the side so it can be stitched together with other stuff.  I've got quite a bit of material going and it's really fun to do! The record sheets are a work in progress, and I noticed that the other poster, Chris V. was using some macros to do rolls with the weapons which sounds awesome.  I'm going to look into that.  I'm in LFG if anyone wants to try a game.  I'm not a super-pro player, still using mostly Classic Battletech rules, with a few from the advanced rules.

Hey, I also just realized that the textures I use to make the maps in paint would probably be way easier to use right in roll20.  So, I loaded them in by themselves and started snapping them to a blank hex grid on a new page.. voila!  Hex Pack!

Very, very cool.  Do you plan to make the tokens available in the market? - Keith

I'd like to get them on the marketplace, yes!  I think the fact that's it's obviously for the branded Battletech game might be a problem though.  I might need to remake a generic hex and robot set for that. I worked on the tiles today, making some overlay-edges for water, dirt and grass.  Here's a shot of the map I made in roll20 just using the hex tiles.  The level 2 and 3 terrain is still without edges, so it's just bare hexes, but that's next. Also, there's the 2D6 token I made, which is a rollable table with all 36 2D6 dice possibilites loaded in.  It's very nice not to have to use the Dice GUI.   I can't wait to try this one out.  I'm calling it "Riverbank."   I used the water edge overlay to make a little rapids where the small creek joins the river, so there's a place where you could walk in level 1 water and also be walking downhill into Sub-Level 1 Water.  Makes for an interesting terrain feature I haven't seen before. Thanks for the interest Keith!
If you do decide to sell that hex pack for making maps, I would be very interested in purchicing it.
I use hexes for Champions (Hero System) and would be interested in them for maps as well... +1
