New to macros. I think I broke this one.

So I'm brand new to this and am equally exited and perplexed by the macros. I found one I like but i think i broke it and then lost the original scipt. once i put in the information it doesn't give results. can anyone see why that is? /emas As a result of the successful hits, you receive a total of [[(?{Number of hits}D?{Damage Dice})+([[?{Number of hits}*?{Damage Mod}]]) ]] HP's of damage!

Seems to work fine for me as posted... are you calling it from a character ability or a collection macro? You may have a leading space that is causing issues.

Are you entering something like D6 in the damage dice? You should just be entering a number there for the number of sides. I'd change the macro to show that expressly, like: /emas As a result of the successful hits, you receive a total of [[(?{Number of hits}D?{Die Sides})+([[?{Number of hits}*?{Damage Mod}]]) ]] HP's of damage! Also, can you edit your last post, and go to the end of your post and press backspace repeatedly, to get rid of all the extra lines so we don't have to scroll as far?

Thank you for getting back to me about this. i used the edited script GiGs sent and it works perfectly. also sorry about all the returns on my reply. Yeah it was definitely a case of idiot operator error. I was hitting d before the dice number and that was what was killing it You all are awesome, thank you all
