What would be the code for a gm to keep up with counting ammo per character? If I could have a base mod per token then I could adjust and name it. I.e handgun, pump shotgun, etc. That would help with multiple npcs/enemies at once.
It depends on the sheet you use, but if there is a place on the sheet to track ammo, then you could easily use the Ammo or ChatSetAttr mod/api script to adjust the ammo counts.
Then I would say you should create a test game and install those 2 mod/api scripts that I mentioned. Both of them have instructions that display when you select them on the mod/api settings page for your game. You can keep that open in one tab for reference while having your game open in the other. See which one you prefer, or if you end up wanting to use a blend of both.
