Compendium is Blank

(hopefully this is the right place to post this) So i've been having this issue persistently for the last 4 days. My DnD 5e compendium has just completely disappeared. nothing happens when I search. I still definitely own the books, and can access most of the content in them that way, but stuff like the spell search window does not work at all. I have no idea what is happening, and am assuming something is going badly wrong on R20s end. Is anybody else having this problem?

First, could you double check that your compendium access is turned on in your game's campaign settings?  Second, which browser are you using?  Are you running any extensions?  Have you tried running your browser's incognito/privacy mode?
Will answer the questions in order. I couldn't quite find a specific "compendium access" setting, so if you mean something specific, i'll need some more details. that said, these are not new games, and the compendiums in them worked up until 4 days ago, so i see no reason why the setting would change. Plus it seems to be happening across multiple separate games for some reason. I am using chrome, but tried it in edge as well, doesn't work in either browser. I am using extensions, but did try it with them turned off, again no luck. Finally, incognito doesn't seem to work either. The compendium is just totally blank. And just to intercept what was to me an obvious thought, I was able to confirm that I definitely own the books, nothing happened to that, they were confirmed in my settings. they're just not appearing in the session itself.

You confirmed the first question at the end of your post. :) You are not the only person having an issue with compendium access vanishing in-game. Some appear to have the tab vanish, while others are having the contents of the compendium vanish. To confirm, the compendium tab is present, but empty? I have sent a message to the Devs about this issue, I am trying to gather information for them.

in that case, i'll elaborate a little bit further. I tried both restarting my computer, and clearing my cache/cookies, no success. However, everything seems to work fine if I use my laptop. (with the same browser and operating system, Windows 10 for reference) It would make me think that something was wrong on my end if you didn't mention other people also having issues. and also because I genuinely have no idea what the problem could even be. some other weird details (in addition to the consistently blank compendium of course): First, the compendium icon is being... well wierd. it's there most of the time, but it does like to dissapear for 5-10 seconds every so often for some reason. The icon also loads in as the last of the icons, a notable number of seconds behind the others. just overall compendium icon wierdness there. The second thing is something i thought was unrelated, but also turned out to be persistent. whatever's going on seems to be drastically impacting some of R20s core functionality in a strange way. Specifically, Character/NPC sheets take a notably longer time to load, as do maps, sometimes i have to refresh to get that to work at all. The most notable issue here is dice rolls, which seem to be significantly delayed to the point of being unusable, sometimes even taking an entire minute to roll, and never less than 30 seconds. I didn't mention these issues because i assumed it was my internet that was freaking out, making it a seperate issue, but testing it on my functional laptop (with both a weaker connection to the internet due to wireless and weaker hardware) made it obvious that the internet was not the problem at all, and given these issues started and are continuing still at the exact same time, i can only assume they are connected.  Hopefully this info helps.

Thanks, that may point the Devs in the right direction.
