[LFG] [D&D 5E] I’m looking for a DM & players for a Sunday morning, or early afternoon, (GMT) campaign.

Are there any DM’s and players out there interested in starting a weekly D&D 5E campaign on Sunday mornings, or early Sunday afternoons (GMT)? I’m an experienced player who enjoys a good balance between role-play, combat and having fun. I’ve played pre-built campaigns, home brew and one shots in the past, but prefer a good long term campaign, something you can get your teeth into and watch your characters grow and evolve. Unfortunately, the last game I was involved in dissolved months ago and since then I’ve found it impossible to find another game on a Sunday. If you are also looking for a Sunday game then please post a reply and lets see if we can start a grand adventure together.

Hi Gatherer, I’d love to play a Sunday morning session too. Im looking for a new campaign because my long term Saturday group disbanded recently. We’d played for about three years but our DM was struggling with family commitments.  If anything does materialise here I’d love to play please.

I’ll keep looking for a DM and additional players, and if the both of you could do the same, we may get a game sorted out soon; fingers crossed. Can I get your thoughts on the style of game you’d like. For example, would you be happy starting a first level character, or would you prefer something a little higher, say level 5? Do you think it would be best to start with a pre-built campaign or let the DM flex their creativity and dive into a home-brew adventure? What balance of role-play/combat do you prefer? Do you have a favourite race or class you like to play, or do you have a character in mind that you’ve always wanted to try, but never had the opportunity? Feel free to post any other thoughts you have on the style of game you'd like as this could help our future DM's world building.

Hi Gatherer, Yeah, I’ll keep my eyes peeled for a DM too. With pre-built or home brew adventures I’m easy. I’m running a Theros game at the moment and I’ve done Eberron, but I’d be happy anywhere.  Starting levels I don’t mind that either. Sometimes L1 can be good to see how the character progresses and develops, or a higher one gets us into bigger action quicker. My favourite classes are rogue and sorcerer, but I try to play something different each time. I always find it good to stretch myself and go with the unfamiliar. How about you guys, what kind of things do you like?

Hey everyone. Unfortunately, I haven’t had much luck finding a DM, so far. I posted on a couple of FB pages and a few Discord servers, but no-one seems willing to run an early Sunday game. I did have a couple of DM’s contact me; one was pay-to-play only, and the other couldn’t start till 6pm on a Sunday. Has anyone else had any better luck? I’ll keep looking and let you all know if anything happens.

Hey, im still fairly new DM but have run a few campaigns and have got to grips with roll20 and beyond character sheets. Im open to feedback and improvement. Prefer an older group. Sunday sounds fine and I have all the 5e content to run. Send me a message and well see if I can help :)

Good news everyone! Reaper has agreed to be the DM for our Sunday game. The game will start at 10am (GMT), breaking for lunch at noon, then returning to the game until we reach a natural point to stop. We’ll be using Discord for comm’s, Roll20 for maps and D&D Beyond for character sheets, so please make sure you are registered at these sites. We haven’t decided on a game yet, but it will be one of the pre-made adventures with characters starting at level 1. When we have selected the party members we’ll take a vote on the adventures Reaper has access to.
