LFG D&D 5e (preferably) or pathfinder New player UTC-5

I've been playing some basic fantasy D&D and been having a blast and want to try out some more complex games so I bought the core rulebook for 5e and pathfinder and wanted to see if there are any groups running a 5e campaign that wouldn't mind me joining. I could also jump right into pathfinder but would require a little bit of patience since it looks a lot more complex than 5e (double the size of the 5e book). I'm available 4 PM to 11 PM weekdays, any time Saturday and after 2PM Sunday. I do have a mic but no camera.

I would love to join so I'm curious are all races allowed in the 5e core book? What classes have been taken so far? Do you roll stats in game or does each player make a character following the book and just send the DM a pdf or something? Do you use voice or text for communication? And how long is the campaign excpected to last?

Cool sounds good to me I already have an idea of the character I want to play.
