[LF1-2M] [5e] [Biweekly Fridays PST] Modified Curse of Strahd (Evil/Neutral/Backwards)

Hi, I'm running a modified/homebrew-ish version of the Curse of Strahd module for 5e and might need 1 more player. One of our players recently had to drop due to their schedule being changed to the point where they can't play anymore. Luckily, we are not too far and have only done a few sessions so far. Game: Some time ago, I had the idea to run an "evil" version of CoS, where the players will actually help Strahd. With that being said, Strahd is therefore an ally rather than being the traditional enemy. He has a few problems that he can't solve himself; that's why he asks the party for help. The chief among them is that his hold over his land is diminishing as some enemies are rising against him and his rule.  In exchange for helping him, he will reward the party with various things. (There "might" be a chance for the party to turn against Strahd; though he would not be very happy about that. As I have also said, there is a moderate amount of homebrew and tweaks added to the campaign made so the game is played "backwards" or made "evil"). Me: I am still fairly new to DM'ing (about a year or so?) As such, I'm susceptible to making mistakes on occasion. I got into 5e some years ago but only recently have gotten to play more stable games. Got into dm'ing partly because at the time I couldn't find games running at times I had available (and because the game I was looking for nobody plays...) so I had to make my own. This game is my first 5e game to DM. If you have other questions, you may ask. In games I play and DM, I like a relaxed and joke-filled environment. (Sorry if dad jokes and puns offend you). General: I try to keep a PG-13 rating on this game, partially due to violence and some mild horror elements, mostly. There won't be any, if at all, more adult elements. If people get uncomfortable by something in the game, they are welcome to message me. Schedule: We'd be playing on a biweekly schedule, meaning every other, Friday nights starting around 6pm pst to about 9pm or slightly later, depending. Characters: Right now there are 4 players: a Barbarian, Sorcerer, Warlock, and a Monk. As for character creation, I allow any official race/class/subclass. I also let players choose from the list of subclasses from the Kibbles Tasty website as well (with approval). I'd also be open to other homebrew, but I would need to look it over and approve of it first. When doing ability scores, I do things a bit different; I let players roll 4d6 dropping the lowest score 7 times. This means that you could choose between the 6 best scores you want from what you rolled rather than just using the first six scores you roll. Comms: Discord for voice chat. While a mic is necessary for voice chat, a webcam is not. Just a mic is fine.  Swearing is alright on voice, but try not to do it all the time. Let me know if you are interested in the game or have any questions.
Greetings, I am curious if you are still looking for a player. I have only gotten into 5e a couple months ago as a DM and have been hoping to find a game to play in. I am something of an ancient forever DM, but dropped off of DnD after 3.0 years ago. I have never experienced any part of Curse of Strahd, so would be interested to see how it goes after all I have heard about it.
Update: We lost a potential player due to schedule conflicts. That means I am looking again for one more player to join our group of 5. If there are any questions, let me know.
Hey I'm new to DnD but could I join the party ?
5E is generally pretty new player friendly, and I am sure the current players could help as well. But yes. Send me a message on discord Jara#3476 and we can talk some more.
Hi! I'd be interested to apply if the slot isn't taken yet. Though I juat wanted to check what's the typical schedule for the session? Just to make sure that if accpeted I can make the session  Thanks!
Typically 6pm pst to 9pm every other friday evenings.
Still looking for one more player.
