Compendium lists take too long to load

I have several add-ons in the compendium. When I try to load the spells list or monsters list, it takes forever, and often hangs my computer. I usually resort to trying to select a filter in the first few seconds, while the menus are interactable but it hasn't yet ground to a halt. I asked over on the usage questions board, and was told this issue is unfixable with the current settings, and experienced by others with compendium add-ons. It would seem like this issue could be solved if you could limit the number of items displayed after a query -- or let us filter results before the query is sent.
to be clear, I'm speaking of these lists, accessed outside of a given campaign: https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Monsters%20List#h-Monsters%20List

Yeah, have this problem big-time, I suspect it's due to some "join" in an effort to make a single table out of multiple tables, not sure how to speed that up honestly, as between the pulls and the sorts there are a lot of data entries, not sure if the sorting is being done server or client side.

The forums are primarily users helping users, I suggest filing a report via the Help Center . Make sure when you reference the compendium you clarify that it is the website compendium, not the VTT compendium.
I have this issue as well and have been very disappointed in the load time of compendium content. The more content purchased the slower it seems the compendium loads content. I have disabled extensions, different browsers, my PC is a 64 GB RAM i7 8 COURE processor. Internet is consistently 900mbps down and 200mbps upload. Have opened tickets and forum posts in the past and always pointed towards performance troubleshooting steps that were already done. IMHO it is poor code and minimal attention paid to the performance of the compendium. Would love to see this fixed as I am reluctant to move to another platform but it is painful.
