Verse Harvests Consortium welcomes new hunters to the paradise known as Orchel Monstra! Truly a paradise for adventurers, crafters, and mages, The Realm of Monsters Undefiled is open to those willing to sign colonial contracts with Verse Harvests to bring the occasional pocket of civility to a world who's motto is "Eat or be eaten!" The call is out to any who would answer to fight and research, for this realm has mysteries in all its farthest corners. The Consortium has laid the groundwork- with lightning rails to accompany the world's own mounts and vehicles in bringing a large continent that much closer together. Explore new vocations, meet new races, (some of which work with Verse Harvests to educate newcomers to the plane- does no good if you get ate first day!), fight new monsters, craft and barter from their parts, adopt new pets, and make a home for yourself, just about wherever you feel is right! Official 5e content is readily accepted, the lore allows for wide variety of characters. Heliana's Guide to Monster Hunting and Kobold Press' Tome of Heroes will be used as well- this will include a new handful of subclasses, races, and even a brand new class in the form of Tamer. I also will be reworking resistance/immunity/weakness to make big monster fights more interesting and add a puzzle element. Crafting, Harvesting, Tracking, and Cooking rules are involved. Expect to make your gear in character. We will not be exploring hard topics, and I will request consent forms. My games are LGBTQIA+ encouraged, and pronouns are appreciated at introduction. Play every foreseeable Tues. utilizing Discord voice chat. The game time will be negotiable, but it'll likely be between 6-8 pm EST for start time. Sessions will be roughly 3 hours, sometimes a session might end in the midst of a combat. I value my time and yours. Pay is done via Paypal per session, weekly, $16. A bit about me: I have been running games professionally almost 3 and a half years, and have ran games for much longer than that. I started with AD&D, back in the 90's, and am glad to have purged THAC0 from my brain, thank you. I've been on both sides of the table, will readily discuss my mistakes I've learned from, and specifically love fascinating and complex encounter design and really in depth roleplay. Some of my prized moments through the years involved emotional connections to NPCs that felt cathartic and beautiful. Those are the moments I seek- building worlds my players feel ownership of, even if the world in question is Faerun all over again. This has been my one confidence I've rarely faltered on, and I look forward to playing games with new folks.
