Newbie GM LFG for either Call Of Cthulu or Rouge Trader

So im rather new to this online roleplaying thing and roleplaying in general, but im a fairly good with rules and creating stories. Beyond that im a fairly friendly person and ive got alot of free time on my hands at the moment but i'd perfer to GM at night EST when im less likely to be pulled away. Anyway if your interested post here im fairly flexible in terms of time and the like.

I'm interested in either of those but would prefer to play call of Cthulhu

I'm also interested. I'd be really excited to try out Call of Cthulhu. I'm also in EST.

okay, so what era would it be and which edition?

1920's era and the edition i know is... 5.6

I want to do either/or :D Both sound fun.

I've been wanting to try both for a long time but I dont have any of the resources for either system.

Well it looks like i'll be running an CoC game, but i did want to try out Rouge Trader as well and would be willing to try to run that at the same time. As for resources if you need them ill email you a link to some basic ones.

I'm open for both games, I'm trying to fill out my spare time with a bunch of games but only one or two of the gm's are following through thus far.

if i start this i will be here as much as i can be when i said i would, you'd just have to bear with me as i learn what I'm doing.

Don't worry, I know that feeling. As for the email thing, I need to know what CoC game we're doing (there are multiples.)

Call of Cthulu v5.6 from Chaosium i also have the 6 edition rulebook if everyone prefers it.

Well it honestly doesnt make a difference to me it just means i have to spend some time and relearn a bit of the rules... and uhh i guess i should start getting times from you guys when you can be on. in EST would be preferable.

*times converted to EST if your in a different timezone, sorry if it sounded confusing. and for times myself im usually available every weekday from 7:00 PM and later EST, weekends get tricky for me though.

This week I'm free Monday after 8:00 PM, Tuesday after 8:30 PM, and Friday after 3:00 PM. My weekends are wide open. In about 2 weeks, my entire schedule will be wide open except for Tuesday and Thursday nights.

I'm also free Wednesday before 4:30 PM and all day Thursday this week.

Gotta mirror this post. Delta Green is like the ONLY decent alternative to the original setting. :)

i said 1920's sorry i have the delta green rule book in pdf form i just haven't read it... also I am still sort trying to figure out how its going to work out, and i have almost no experience as a GM. (no one in my town is really into this sort of stuff)

Also if you want to join please post your times i dont mind if i have to run it at 4:00 AM, I just need times so i can get hopefully all of you in a timeslot for this. Hell ill even run two different sessions if its possible.

Ah. No I was not actually suggesting we play Delta Green, merely that it was the only other good CoC setting! As for my timezone, I'm PST, so about 3 hours after you folks. Your 6pm would be my 9pm. That being said, I can stay up til at least 1 my time if need be. If a game started by 7pm EST I could be good to go. And if it were Weds or Thurs that would be ideal. Sunday is an option as well.

well with the times i've gotten from you guys. I'd say Wednesday at 7 PM or later would work.

Hey, I'm very much in... I can't play on Wednesday though as my schedule has been changing. This week I can play any weekday afternoon before 5PM (Monday before 7PM), but only Thursday or Friday night. Weekends are wide open. Next week will probably be the same thing and after that I can play anytime. Sorry to be difficult.

No its alright... hmmm maybe Thursday works better for everyone, I'm willing to wait or change the time.
