I'm trying to get a list of all monsters with the type "construct" but it seems like it is not possible to filter anything at all except for the different content books. I'm used to be able to do this for d&d5 monsters. It's really hard to "explore" the existing monsters without filters. Are there any addons that can do that or am I mssing something here?

You are probably not missing anything. It would depend on how the compendium for PF2 was set up and whether or not they broke it down by type.

Gauss is correct. However, there is one other (less than optimal) option available. It's not filtering, and can't be done in-game, but in the web compendium , you can sort monsters by more criteria.
