Apologies if this is inappropriate here. I am a pro subscriber and I both play and dm here. I am not very good at the use of api's and macros though I have tried and will continue to. I gm Call of Cthulhu and DnD and would like to GM Deadlands, Vtm 5th, Shadowrun, Traveller, 5 Rings, Earthdawn here. However, I have run into problems even with Call of Cthulhu with problematic and insufficient charactermancers, sheets and tools. I am not complaining per se I am very grateful to have what is there. However, when I was trying out a setup for deadlands classic I couldn't use even the basic setups, Pokerships differentiating the traditional types of old classic chips are not an option here and the card decks which are quite strong do not differentiate the jokers which is essential to the game. I tried also Table top simulator and the pokerchip there setup is deplorable. Anyway I'm just saying, where certain games seem very well supported others are not. I know they are less of a marketplace share but gamers are quite loyal to these older systems, CoC should bear that out for you guys, but I am hoping that with the influx of money and resources to Roll 20 that more resources could be dedicated to tools for other games, and you might find you can create additional interest and subscribers if you can support these classic alternative non DnD style games. I for one could invest even more into a vtt that could give me the tools to mechanically run the above games more easily. I'm trying to train a whole new generation on games that are not DnD and they are eager. I would like an environmental layer to be added to the map or areas like the revealed area that I could use for water, mist, fog, pollution, snow effects something that could be dismissed or hidden as a layer like dynamic lighting. Perhaps multiple gm layers that you could tab or tag with names that would allow you to reveal everything on that layer at once or disappear it without removing the utility of the current gm layer. I would like an easier exploding dice toolset. I like the PDF support it seems that anecdotally at least it has put an enormous strain and lag on my games. My 3 page roll20 character sheet exploded to a 50+ page pdf that takes 5-10 minutes just to open in roll20 as the 3 page now. And getting that across my games. So a little concerned with that. It would be lovely to have an audio option where in addition to the current audio options (which I use extensively) there is also an option to just link to a website so I can stream something that is a good hour or two, something much to large to be handled in the current system. I saw this option recently on a new vtt trying to get started but that didn't have most of the bells and whistles I need. These would be my highest priority suggestions with niche gaming support being the strongest. I want to thank the developers and the community for the work they have done here.
