Hello, I'm (25 he/him) currently looking for a game to join in as a player. I'm most interested in joining a 5e game, but am open to new systems as long as the group/gm are okay with a learning period. I've been playing DnD since about 2018 (mostly as a GM) and have also played with Monster of the Week quite allot (which has helped me a lot with my improvising). I'm looking for a weekly or bi-weekly game that is on a weeknight that's not Friday; I'm in the Central time zone in the USA; so a late-night Euro or early morning Australian game may work. I'm a very open/accepting individual and have never had much trouble finding my voice in a new group. I'm hoping to find a game where I can grow close with the other participants in a game-setting/tone that can allow for good laughs. My work schedule is quite fixed and so I wouldn't have any problems with attendance. In general I've almost always used voice/video when playing online, and grown to prefer this format as it helps me allot with expressing and interpreting the expressions of others. I'd be okay with a voice-only game but I don't think I would enjoy a text-only one. I'm comfortable with mature themes, generally speaking, but am not comfortable with explicit sexual role play. I would also be comfortable at a more PG-13 style table, although I may have trouble constraining my sailor vocabulary. I know all that's pretty boring so I figure I can tell you a bit about what I most like most about TTRPGs. My favorite part by and far are the collaborative role play moments between players; learning in character about others and building on it is the main reason this game has kept me interested. It's these moments that bind the team together that makes surmounting our objectives all the more sweet. I also appreciate the growing closer with others, I have met quite a few good friends through TTRPGs; and hope to make some more. I also enjoy character building, although I hardly think this makes me stand out, my favorite way of approaching it is to make a fun personality (such as a tall-tale telling boisterous tavern keep or earnest traveling brewer) and making them into a personality that wants to adventure. Anyway thank you for taking the time to read this; if you have any questions for me please feel free to ask me here, or to DM me. If you DM me I can provide my Discord tag as well. Whether or not you think I may be a good fit for your game I appreciate you reading this over and wish you all the best in your search!
