Good Morrow Adventurers!     My name is Matt and I'm seeking 4 (possibly 5) brave adventurers to start a D&D 5e pen and paper game set in my homebrew world of Urth during the weekend. In this game I've challenged myself to use as few online resources as possible to create the world and adventure.      As a bit of background on myself, I'm a happily married 28 year old man, living on the West Coast but soon to move across the US to the East Coast; I've played in 4 campaigns spanning over the past 6 years or so, both D&D 5e and Pathfinder, online and in person and have DM'd a 2 one shots on roll20. I understand if you are cautious as to my lack of DMing experience but I'm a dedicated, stable, and consistant person who strives to deliver a quality product to my future friends. :)     To start off the Adventure  I'd like to have everyone work together to create their characters over a session 0, where I'll give details about Urth and you should feel free to create world elements of your own to fit a backstory for your player character. I encourage all players to be open with most aspects of their character to foster excitement but I also see the value in keeping some parts of your characters past a mystery as well.      The Game  will be played on the weekends Friday evenings, all day Saturday or Sunday mornings, during 5+ hour sessions in a Monthly to 3 week (possibly 2 week) frequency depending on scheduling issues as everyone of has a life outside of the game.  We will begin at 3rd level as you are a semi experienced adventurer in your own rite and end the campagin around roughly level 17 to 20. The only restrictions that I'm imposing for narrative reasons are specific races, I will list them below for you to decide if you are willing to make a character and play in the campaign. The Races have been changed in both historical description and theme so please keep that in mind, so as to not create a full fledged character before hand. Centaur Gnome (Deep Gnomes only) Fairy Goliath Human Lizardfolk Minotaur Satyr Warforged     I intend for this to be a pen and paper game, however I will not limit you if you wish to use resources like D&D beyond and the like. I only mean that I will be making simple maps to use on webcam and not be utilizing online resources, as that is my challenge, not yours. I want to give you all as close to an "in-person" experience as possible while likely being across the world from each other. I will be wearing a costume and do my best impressions of NPC's for both your amusement as well as mine. That is to say that I don't expect you to be a master-class roleplayer, so please don't judge my theatrics too harshly lol.     As a few out of game related  rules It is imperative that everyone in the game be 18+ , as it is possible that their may be some themes that may be not suitable for minors (Nothing NSFW of course).  The game is meant to be celebrated but not to it's detriment so please don't become overly intoxicated both in alcohol or drugs, before or during the game.
