How is roll20 with Tablets

I have a player that thanks to life events is no longer able to join me and my group on their computer, however in his situation he would be able to use a tablet to join and play with us. What are peoples experiences using tablets with roll20 and is there anything to keep in mind when using them? Also we would appreciate any recommendations for tablets that work well with roll20. Thanks in advance.

Some folks have difficulty with Roll20 on tablets, but others do fine. The best advice is to try it out and see how it works.  If there are any issues I suggest coming back with the issues, there may be solutions to be found.  One such solution is an extension called "Touch20", it can improve the touch interface with Roll20.
