[LF1-2P] [Scion 1E] [Free] What Lurks in the Shadows

Start Date: Monday the 10th of April. Day of the Week: Monday Time: 18-22 GMT (Note this is starting AFTER Daylight Savings shift at the end of March) (this is 19-23 Central European time) Language: English Information about the world Modern Era, Europe. A parallel world to ours, where events might cross over. The war in Ukraine is happening, but instead of Russia, it might be a Scion behind it battling with a Scion in Ukraine. Standard character build, using only the Hero book. This includes your patron deity. They must be from the book, I’m not homebrewing for everyone. The more known your patron is, the easier it will be for me to create compelling stories for you. Realistic consequences for actions: If you rob a bank, police will come after you. If you kill an important person, their important family will seek revenge. My expectations: 18+ Years old. This isn’t for NSFW content but I want to deal with adults. Prefer some roleplay experience. (But you can be new to Scion) Discord voice chat is a must. This will be done primarily via voice, not through text. Consistency: Be on time ready to play nearly every week (I understand things happen and you might miss a session). I would like to know at least 24 hours before the session starts if you won’t make it. Be courteous towards the members of the group. Your characters might be rivals, but you, as players, need not be. You are expected to create a cooperative character who is robust to fit into the world. Your character needs two identities, much like a superhero. Their civilian or hidden identity needs to be just as fleshed out as their powerful, demigod identity. I expect friends, allies, enemies and some stories. What you can expect of me I will create a story that will be unique and draw you in. I am really good at this. Free. I will not be expecting any money for this. I am doing this for my own enjoyment. I will be on time, ready to play at the appointed time. I am willing to talk with you about your character's goals and incorporate them into the wider story. I’ve been GMing for 20+ years. I’ve been in a lot of different situations I have a lot of experience in different systems, from D&D to World of Darkness, Star Wars, Call of Cthulhu. It will take me some time, depending on how many apply. I promise I will respond to each of you as my schedule allows. Be patient.

I'm one of the players in this game. I highly recommend joining this game - it's going to be a lot of fun! The GM is (like he says) amazing and great at making an interesting story. The other players already in the group are all really nice and welcoming. If you want to try something a little different then this is just the thing for you :)

Hey, I would encourage people to come play with us! Even if you've never played the system. This is a first time with the system for me too, so it isn't a big deal. If you're wondering what Scion is, it is about playing a Demigod! You pick a God or Goddess to be your father/mother, and that is kinda like picking your class. It has Egyptian, Greek/Roman, Norse, Aztec, Japanese and even Voodoo deities to pick from. Come give it a try, I would love to meet you.

Gah I love Scion and your style seems so up my alley. Our times don't match up sadly as in CST American I would be working when game starts. I didn't mean to waste your time, but I just wanted to send kudos, love, and I hope we could play together someday! Best of luck in your campaign!

Hello Cent! Thank you for your repsond, and you are certainly not wasting my time, never fear that. I am glad that you are passionately as I am about scion, its a system that should be more played. That said, the reason for these times is that we are mostly people from EU playing on this team, and by the time that we are done. its litterally 11.30 PM for me, thus I cannot stretch it more. That said, if you see one of my posts searching for either a new group or you feel the time skip is not longer an issue, then you are always free to apply :)
